"You got that right. Seri barely caught her opponent's mutter, and for a moment she swore it was a bit menacing than she would have originally thought the man could possibly achieve. Perhaps it was because he had said it in a low voice, but to her it just seemed a bit too husky and out of place. It was dark with promise of glory. Winchester didn't like it, not one bit.
Then the boy had to go and throw his sword, what was the he honestly thinking? Just because she was resorting to hand-to-hand didn't mean he had to. How was it suppose to be fair if he didn't use a weapon he was most skilled with? Perhaps she was thinking to much into it. Maybe he was just as fit with his fists than his sword. If that was the case she would have no choice but to embrace this new predicament. Whatever the case she would be the one walking away with her head held high.
Half way into her attack, Seri found the sinking realization she had definitely underestimated this boy on more than one account. Finn swiftly clamped a expertly placed hand over her ankle and shoved her foot roughly away like it was an annoying bug.
Her eyes widened ever so slightly at the move, wanting to curse herself for not countering immediately. Her leg swipe fared even worse, she had forgotten she had used that move once already, and it showed when he simply jumped to avoid being tripped. A small frown graced her features as Finn clamp his strong fingers over her punch towards his midsection to stop it. A tiny hiss escaped her lips, disappointed the blow hadn't hit it's mark.
She was momentarily embarrassed by her carelessness and the sudden position she was slowly forced into. He was like no other opponent that she had faced, yet she had foolishly treated him as such. It didn't surprise her in the least when he called her out on it.
“Getting a little predictable, aren’t you, Amazon,” Finn whispered, obviously teasing her. “Perhaps you’re not used to having acquaintances that last for more than a few seconds…?” Seri snorted, though her eyes darted to the side in clear embarrassment. He had hit it right on the dot with that one. “Let’s hope you don’t flip from the novelty of the thing,” Touche. Wait a minute. What the heck was she thinking?
Alright, that was the last straw. She'd show him! Eyes dancing with fury, the Ares child tried to yank her hand away, but was surprised as his grip on her hand seemed to tighten. Was he trying to--? Like heck he was going to force a submission on her!
"I don't think...So!" She protested defiantly, trying her best to power out of it, but ultimately failing as he grabbed her other arm and forced her to kneel on the sandy ground.
Letting out a tiny gasp, she tried to pull away only to end up on her butt, getting the back of her black short shorts dirty in the process. He was crouched over her and the Ares child became suddenly very aware of the other fighter.
“You don't look much like your dad, that much I'll say for you." Seri's eyes widened as he pulled her face closer to his own. Her breath hitched in her throat at how close they were and she could practically make out every drop of sweat the fell from his brow. What the...?
She hadn't realized it before, but now with it shoved quite literally in her face, the boy in front of her was...Handsome. Very handsome, actually. Her eyes trailed down to the torn rip in his' shirt where she could just barely make out the tanned skin underneath and...-
Holy crap.
Suddenly fighting this boy didn't sound like much fun anymore. Nope, she was having a strange impulse to get as far away from Finn as possible.
"I get my good looks from my Mom. Can't say the same about you, you look even more like a man-child up close." She hissed, trying to distract herself with his banter while also trying to think of a way to free herself.
Honestly, she was incredibly unnerved by how close they were and by how he had such a strong grip on her arms. She just wanted to be away- far, far away. Seri once more tried to pull out of the stronger demi-god's grip, a light huff escaping her lips as she glared daggers at his hands that bound her when she didn't succeed.
"Let," She yanked against his hold, "Me," Another yank, "Go." She practically growled, trying her best not to look at the man who was incredibly close to her and instead focus on the fight.
Seri had grown suddenly very wary of this man called Finn, and for once in her life she had no clue how to proceed with the fight, let alone get away. He was a lot stronger than she had originally foreseen.
Words: Enough
Notes: OMG IM SO SORRY IVE BEEN GONE! My computer broke and it took seriously forever to get the money to buy a new one. I hope your muse for these two haven't been destroyed because of my absense! D: Also I will go along with any of those ideas since they are both perfect! Whichever way you lead it is fine with me, so it's up to you! :{D Annnd nope you weren't godmodding and even if you were I am totally cool with it. I definitely assumed Finn was also a bit stronger than her because of gender and age as well so it's all cool. :]
