Welcome to Domain of the Delphi, an alternate-universe roleplay based on the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series by Rick Riordan.
Tartarus has held monsters, Gods, and Titans. Throughout all 5 ages, the Pit has been used as a prison and Jailer for them all. But we all know evil lies at the bottom. Things that the gods still fear. Now something is rising from the depths of the Pit, and it is stirring every monster into a frenzy. The minotaur chases after anyone that goes out of camp, the Gorgon sisters can be heard shrieking in the night, and skeletons and zombies are almost always attacking the camp borders. The gods are quiet on Olympus, and won't speak the name of their foe. Darkness is rising, will Olympus still shine bright in the night?
Have you ever felt like you might be a demigod? Are you a mortal wishing you were a demigod? There may be a place for you at camp, come and see...

This is a ROLEPLAYING board for threads if they're NOT part of DotD canon. For example, all threads taking place in the past, future, or in an alternative world (ex: demigods at Hogwarts) would be placed here. Feel free to go crazy because nothing here is part of DotD canon.
If you know you're going to be inactive, or less active, for a few days or more, post here so we don't get worried or delete your character by mistake!
If you're a gifted Photoshopologist, you can set up a thread where people request stuff from you! Otherwise, either post in a shop or create your own thread with the information about what you need. STEAL AND DIE IN A CORNER.
This is where you can post any poems, short stories, novellas, etc! Have a fanfic featuring your charries? POST IT! Percy Jackson fanfic? POST IT! We'd love to read it.
If you would like to advertise your own site, member or not, please post in this board! There are separate boards for advertising and affiliating, so please post appropriately. Please refrain from bumping threads more than once a week. Advertising rules can be found in the "First-Time Posts" board. This board is guest friendly.
The Big House is the main entrance to Camp Half-Blood. It was painted red about twenty years ago, but since has been painted light blue, although technically it needs some new paint.
The Cabin Leaders and camp staff will hold meetings here in the rec room, if need be. If you come, we have complimentary Cheez Whiz. That's one of the perks of being a cabin leader...junk food!
Bored? If you're interested, Mr. D. will be holding 24/7 pinochle games, if you care to join him. The Big House has four floors, excluding an attic and basement, and includes the infirmary and Chiron and Mr. D.'s offices. The Oracle also has a room in here.
This is where all the campers live, in their cabins. There are separate cabins for each god, but some gods seem to be better decorators than others...I mean, the Ares cabin?! *shudder*
If you love creating crafts, painting on canvases, and slopping glitter-glue on your enemies, here is where you can! Not artistic, are you? Weeellll...then just stick to using glitter glue as a lethal weapon. Mightier than the sword, is it not?
If campers are putting on a play, or something like that, the campers gather here to do it! You might want to bring a pillow...I've heard that the seats aren't too comfortable.
If you try to climb this wall, make sure you're prepared for lava, avalanches, and being the stuff in the middle of a sandwich.
This is actually two walls facing each other. You'd better be fast! If you're a slowpoke, well, like I said...you become the peanut butter in a peanut butter sandwich. Who wants that?
Campers are allowed on the beach for a little bit every day. It's very long, and near the Long Island Sound, so you can also go canoeing. This long stretch of beach is ideal for many things, from playing tag to pranking to getting a tan! Just watch out for the naiads...
Hungry? Thirsty? Well, get food here. Either here or the Hermes cabin (that's if you're interested in candy). You can have almost anything you want, just remember you need to give your offering to your parent!
Want to, quite literally, pick a fight? Well then, the Arena is the place for you. Campers are here day and night to train with their weapons. Just be careful and always keep some nectar or ambrosia on hand. Those Ares kids don't understand it's just training.
The Forge and Armory are where people make and put weapons, respectively.
The Forge is where most of the Hephaestus kids go to hang out. Getting sweaty and burning your hand on hot metal, ever had so much fun? You can make a weapon for yourself, or a weapon to put in the armory for anyone to use.
The Armory is basically a building where the half-bloods store their weapons, shields, and other metalworks. Sometimes several campers are in here, trying to find a halfway decent shield. Suggestion: Make your own or Charmspeak the Hephaestus kids into doing it for you.
This is the reason Camp Half-Blood doesn't go broke—after all, housing teenagers with gods for parents isn't too easy! The camp cover-up is the strawberry company Delphi Strawberries.
Demeter and Dionysus kids, along with satyrs, are the most common visitors of the fields. Since the Demeter children have green thumbs, and the Dionysus children can make them grow (cool, right?), we need them especially. So don't hate Mr. D. unless you want the camp to close! (And nobody wants that!)
This is the home of the gods, hidden on the six-hundredth floor of the Empire State Building. Nearly all the gods reside here except for Hades, the god of the Underworld.
Only gods may post here without admin permission prior to your post.
If you have been shunted out of camp to save the world on a quest, this is where you should post your thread. If you need a sub-board for your quest, PM an admin and we'll be happy to set one up for you.
The plot's well under way, and quest sign-ups are now open! All entries are due May 6, so get your app in! See the announcement board for more information. Also, it's time for May OTMs nominations! PM your nominations to "OTM" . They will be due April 29. Keep on roleplaying! Love you guys!
