The Rules
>>Registering
- Register with your character’s name.
- Change the display name to your character's name.
>>OOC and Cbox
- Be courteous.
- No advertising or linking to other RPGs anywhere on the board except for the Advertisement board.
- IC conflicts should not be taken personally. IC =/= OOC.
- Do not impersonate someone else (admins, other members, etc).
>>Characters
- All characters must be original. No reincarnates of Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Bella Swan, etc. Any characters that you transfer from another site must be yours.
- You may have as many characters as you want, provided that you're active on all of your accounts.
- If you'd like a child of the big three (Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades), please PM two administrators.
- We allow the following character types: claimed and unclaimed demigods with a minor god parent, claimed and unclaimed demigods with an Olympian parent (excluding the virgin goddesses), Hunters of Artemis, deminymphs, nymphs, and camp counselors.
- No Mary-Sues, Gary-Sues, Anti-Sues, etc.
- Every registered character must be between 7-21. The only exceptions are Camp Counselors (21+) and Huntresses of Artemis (any age). This site goes by real time, so characters will age.
>>Roleplaying
- All posts must be in third person, past tense. Extreme formatting (such as bright, unreadable font) is discouraged.
- Word count minimum is 150 words, not including OOC notes. Occasional posts under the word count will be allowed, but if it becomes excessive, you will receive a PM. (The key phrase for the application is "Gladiola the Pink Poodle"). If your word processor doesn’t automatically count your words, you can go to this site.
- No powerplaying, godmodding, or metagaming without permission.
- Proofread your posts for grammar/spelling mistakes.
>>Activity
- Activity requirements are flexible. However, if you have to leave for a while, please post in the Absences forum.
- If the admins notice that you've been inactive for a while (about three months) without an absence thread, your characters will be moved to the "Inactive/AFKed" group.
>>Rating
- We are 2-2-2 on RPG Ratings. This means...
Language 2: Swearing is generally permitted. However, the language cannot be used to severely abuse.
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or mature tagging are recommended.
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
>>Graphics
- Avatars cannot be larger than 200x300 pixels. Signatures cannot be larger than 500x500. Any posted images should not stretch the board.
- All images must be PG rated.
- Playbys must be 13+, and they must be famous enough that their birth date and other basic information are known. They should also look your character's age.
- Give credit for graphics.
- You may have up to three images in your signature.
