General Appearance:
Summer is a pretty girl and she knows it although she doesn’t flaunt it around and doesn’t use it to get her things. She has a slender build, but don’t let that throw you off. She is still strong enough to take down an opponent. Even though the bow and arrows are her natural gift, she has tried to taken wielding a sword into consideration. If she’s in the mood she will wear some jewelry but since she’s always trying to improve her skills and jewelry gets in the way, at least with her, there’s hardly the time.

Personality Description:
Summer is a very careful girl. Yes, she’s sweet and there’s hardly a mean bone in her body but she acts extremely careful. This had to do with her gift, which will be explained in the powers. Whenever she’s making new friends, or going after a guy, she always takes the step back to think it through and make sure everything will turn out ok. Then there’s her sweet side. When you do get past that protective barrier, then you can find that she is sweet and will let herself go with her close friend. She doesn’t act all careful around them.
Just like everyone though, she isn’t all sweet. She knows that when the time calls for it she needs to get serious. This usually happens in training or on wars. At this time she can act angry though she tries not to let it take control of her. Her thoughts have to be very precise when using her bow so she tries to be a clear thinker.

Powers:
Summer only has one gift from Apollo. The ability to never miss her true target. This may seem like a gift but it is also a curse. This is because she may never miss her TRUE target. I know I repeated this but this is essential. Even if she is aiming at a target or something else. If she really thinks about something else, the arrow will find its place in whatever she thinks about. When she first got this ability, she tested it by aiming at a target in front of her and thinking about the tree behind her and how cool it would be to hit that. So when she released the bow, she heard a thwack behind her and the arrow was lodged in the tree.
Family and History
Personal History:
When Emily met Apollo she knew who he was right from the start. But of course, that isn’t why she fell in love. She fell in love for his personality. He was sweet to her and kind. So when she had little Summer she prayed that she turn out just like her father. Hoping that she lived a good life. In order to protect her and make sure that they were well cared for Emily knew she had to find a guy. David was that guy. He had been her long time best friend and they had feelings for each other. When she had told him about Summer’s real father he had seemed skeptical at first, but then slowly started to believe her. They had married when Summer was two years old and after Emily had another child. A child born from Hades’.
Emily grew up a nice childhood with two loving parents. Her mom from a young age always let her know who her real dad was and what she was so that it wasn’t a shock to her when she grew up. She also let her know who her brother was from so she could help him with that. Her mom and dad realized that she had a gift for Archery at a 6th grade Summer camp, which was where she first learned how to use a bow. This was also around the time that monsters started to come after her.
When the first monster came Emily tried to hold back her tears knowing that Summer wouldn’t be able to stay around much longer. But as time passed and more and more monsters started showing up, Emily started talking to Summer about the camp. Telling her all these lovely things about it and that she had to go. On the day that she had to leave, at age 13, as they were walking outside Apollo appeared before them holding a bow and arrows. Summer, knowing who he was had ran up and given him a hug, surprised at first he soon returned the gesture.
This was when Summer got her gift. He told her that he had been watching her all this time. He had seen how great she had handled the bow. He said all these things that at the time Summer didn’t understand but she does now. He granted her a gift, but in order to not make it seem like he was playing favorites with his kids, the gift had a drawback which now seems like a curse to Summer. Although she would never miss her true mark, her true mark could be something she was just thinking in the back of her mind. Her mind had to be clear or entirely focused to make sure no one got hurt. This was also when he prompted her to try it out on the target ahead and smiled when it hit the tree behind her, like he knew it would. He vanished after that and Emily continued taking Summer and Mitch to camp.
Almost as soon as she arrived she was claimed by Apollo. A lot of people were shocked at how fast, but Summer knew it the back of her mind that that would’ve happened. She trained everyday with the bow following Apollo’s orders about clearing her mind. She practiced hard hoping one day that she could show the camp what her real power was, but always being scared of that day for she think that they will be shocked by it.
