Dressing Style: Most often he will dress in plaid with jeans. If he isn't wearing plaid then he will wear some form of a long sleeved or regular t-shirt. Most of the times he wears boots, but sometimes he wears other types of shoes.
General Appearance: Cody has that super young face. He will probably always look young as he grows up. He is not a bad looking kid. In fact, he does work out some and that is easily shown if he ever has his shirt off. He doesn't have rock hard abs per say, but he is fit. But really this kid is just super adorable.

Personality Description:
Cody is really naïve. He writes songs about love and such, and he understands love, but he doesn't understand flirting. He never has and never will. He thinks that when someone flirts they are being true all the time. That's another bad thing. He always believes people always tell the truth. It's like a fatal flaw for him. He will probably end up dying one day because someone tells him to go do something and he does it and ends up dying. He is a generally sweet guy and never likes to fight. He believes everything can be solved with words. He almost never gets angry, and if you do see him get angry then congrats! You are seeing a side that never comes out! Ever since his fathers death he wakes up in the middle of the night because of nightmares. To this day it happens every single night.

Powers: The only power he has is being able to play any kind of instrument that he touches. He has a guitar pick, which if he thinks about a certain instrument can turn into that instrument.
Family and History
Personal History:
Tyler Thompson was a hard working cowboy on a ranch in Kentucky. Every day he would go to work and at night he would come home to an empty house and play some music. He never got married since he felt that if he did, everything that he loved the most would disappear. So, he put his heart and soul into his music and work.
It was one day when he was playing at a local bar that he met the supposed love of his live. Melanie (Melpomene) had walked into the bar on the last of Tyler's song. The last song was a total love song and all the way through it he stared at her and her at him. That night was the best night of Tyler's night. But when he woke up, instead of being next to him like she had been Melanie was gone.
Tyler sank into a depression for 9 months. Then, a knock was on his door. Melanie was standing there. But it wasn't Melanie. It was Melpomene. She told Tyler everything. That she was a muse, that the babe she was cradling in her arms was his. At first he didn't believe her, but when he saw the little boy, he started seeing similar traits in the boy that he had. So he accepted the terms. That when Cody was 12 he would go to Camp Half-Blood. As a going away present, Melpomene gave Tyler a guitar pick.
She explained to him that in Cody's hands, it could become any instrument he wanted to play. Elated with the fact that his son would grow up to love music Tyler was even more enthusiastic to take his son in. When Cody reached the age of two he started to make music and sing and dance around the house. Of course, nothing had a rhythm, but it was cute nonetheless. By the age of five, Cody was given the guitar pick. His dad would bring him to work where Cody would play with the guitar pick and Tyler's employee’s son and daughter.
He was a musical prodigy. He would instantly think of an instrument and not ten minutes later be playing it to his heart's content. But of course as Melpomene is the Muse of Singing, she is also the Muse of Tragedy. By the time Cody turned ten, he was already growing up to be a fine young boy. His dad had told him of his parentage and it was believable with the guitar pick. A couple weeks after his tenth birthday tragedy struck Cody.
His dad was out moving some cattle on the ranch he worked with. Cody was with him on the horse. He was watching his dad work the cattle, when Cody noticed that one of the bulls seemed different. It was standing on two legs and looked to have the upper body of a man but with a giant bull head. Cody called out to his dad, since his dad couldn't see through the mist, but his dad didn't hear him. The minotaur had started to run straight towards Cody and the horse, but Tyler and his horse ran in front of it. This was the normal procedure and usually the bull would stop in its tracks, but this was not the case.
At ten-years-old little Cody heard his dad’s final words as the Minotaur ran him through. "Cody! Run for the house son! But don't forget I love you!" His dad had been able to see through the mist at the last second, but there was no way he could escape the stampeding Minotaur. Everything happened slowly at that time. The horse seemed to know what to do, but when Cody looked back he realized he was on the back of a Centaur!
The Party Pony had been Cody's mount ever since he first started to ride. He was assigned by Melpomene to watch after little Cody until he was 12. The Centaur had a bow with him and fired an arrow, which Cody had a feeling was Celestial Bronze at the Minotaur. A couple of these and the Minotaur erupted into dust. By then Cody was crying. The Centaur explained where he was supposed to go and with guitar pick in hand, he travelled the distance to Camp Half-Blood. When he dropped off Cody, it was the last time the boy had ever seen the Centaur that saved his life.
Cody was claimed later that day. He was sitting in front of the Hermes Cabin playing an acoustic guitar, since that was what the guitar pick had turned into, and singing a song that had been unheard of. The kids around him that were listening zeroed in on the top of his head in awe. No one had been claimed by a Muse before. Cody was placed in the Minor God and Goddess cabin later that day. At first he had been confused by this since his mom was a Muse. But after some research he found out that Melpomene was the Muse and Goddess of Tragedy and Singing. Whatever the Muses were Muses over, they were also Goddess’ over.
From that day forward, Cody spent all his years at camp. He would train, and unlike every other weapon, he excels best in swordsmanship. But, he would rather sit back and play an instrument thanks to his trusty guitar pick. He is yet to meet another child of one of the Muses, but he hopes one day they will come. Although he appreciates life here at camp, he cannot help but think of wanting to get out. He doesn't feel right knowing his dad died to save him. It haunts him every night. Many of the nights he wakes up nauseated and feeling like he just ran miles.
