For the first time in a long time, Hannah dreamed.
She walked along a dark mountain path. Rocks sliced at her bare feet, but she wasn't affected by it at all. She used her hands as leverage as she climbed the steep path, the rust colored dress she wore undamaged by the journey. She did not know what she was climbing for, only that she had to get to the top. It did not take her long to reach the top. The heat from the volcano was almost overwhelming, but still, her hair and dress were unscathed. She felt compelled to go into the volcano, but her fear got the best of her. Finally, she inched her way forwards, peeking over the edge. She saw that there was no lava, but a staircase that led deep into the mountain. From the bottom, she could hear the clanking of a hammer on metal. The compulsion hit her again, and she descended.
The clanking got louder as she reached the bottom, and she could now see a man hunched over a metal table, hammering away at a sword. "Finally, you've arrived. I was afraid your fear would get the best of you." Hannah tilted her head confused, until she caught a better glimpse of the man in the light. "Father?" The man turned, a smile on his disformed face. He nodded, motioning for the girl to stand by him. "You're smart, Hannah. You should know this isn't your fault." Hannah swallowed, looking at her bloody feet. "All those people...I killed them all. I can't show my face." Hephaestus laughed as he turned back to his sword. "You can show more than I can, girl. Your kind are a forgiving people. It wasn't your fault that you were possessed, used. They will understand." Hannah swallowed again, tears filling her eyes. "H..Hailey..I was so horrible to Hailey.." Her father laughed again. "Silly girl. She's the most forgiving of all. She's waiting for you now. She's afraid. Go to her." Hannah didn't want to leave. Her first meeting with her father and it was so short. "Be safe, Hannah. I'm always with you girls."
Hannah's eyes fluttered open, only to instantly close at the bright light in the tent. It was morning already. She waited for her eyes to adjust again before she lifted her hand slightly. Everything hurt when she moved, but she wanted the comfort of her sister. "H..Hailey. I..I'm so sorry." She whispered softly. Her voice was soft and raspy, the simple task causing pain to spread through her body.

General Appearance: Kura's a very petite girl, if you can even call her a girl. From her hundreds of years, she has learned that she can change her appearance at will, but she tends to keep it as natural as she can. being a Nymph, she is very lithe and graceful, with long limbs. Her hair color is natural, it is just what the Gods gave her when they created her. And her skin tone, it almost matches the pale brown inner bark that is found inside of her tree.
What Makes Them Them
Personality Description: Kura is...Out there. She seems distant most of the time, like she's off in her own little world. She's very bubbly, though. There's not a person out there she does not like. She believes there is good in everyone and everything, and she will defend that until she finally perishes from the earth. There are only rare moments when she is upset or not her usually bubbly self. And that is when a tree near hers is disturbed, or destroyed, or when one of her own kind is destroyed. In this area, her kind was already rare, so it was heart breaking when the numbers diminished. There is not a mean bone in Kura's body. Even if she was so angry or hurt she could stand it no longer, she would never lay a hand to anyone or anything, and she would take the pain with a smile and laugh.
Likes: Cherries, Trees, Nature, Flowers, Dancing.
Dislikes: Fire, Cities, Sadness, Fighting, Pessimists.
Fears: That her tree would be destroyed, therefore, so would she. Burning alive. Being forced to fight.
Secrets: She lashes out sometimes, when she's alone.
Ambitions: To be one of the oldest of her kind. To see the world revert back to a wonderful place full of nature and her brethren.
Powers: She can manifest cherry blossoms into whatever form she wishes. She can turn herself into cherry blossoms to evade a fight. She can sense other Nymphs/Dryads near by. She can speak to certain plants that are fruit bearing.
Family and History
Personal History: As all Nymphs, Kura's life started as a seed. A small seed planted by a particular Goddess, who gave life to many of Kura's brethren. Artemis planted her on a hilltop, hoping that the blossoms she would one day grow would float to the valley below, therefore, spreading feminine beauty to the land. As a seedling, Kura could not yet take human form, but she could observe and learn. She watched a hundred years go by before she was big enough to go out on her own. She showed herself as a small child back then, following the Gods around, learning all she could. She was glad that the Gods chose the valley she looked over to roam. She watched and grew with the valley. Watched as humans began to settle, living amongst the Godly creatures that inhabited the valley.
The centaurs and Satyrs were her closest friends. They ran, laughed, played, and help turn the Camp into what it is today. She watched thousands of Demi-Gods flow through the camp, learning to hone their abilities. She was fascinated by them. In her Two-Hundredth year, she was finally big enough to do what she was planted to do. Once a day, she would return to her tree and shake her branches, letting her blossoms fall to the valley below. She watched as people adored the spectacle. She felt pride in her place at the camp.
It soon began that she helped more at the camp. She would teach lessons on grace and evasion. Dodging, diving, hiding, surviving. She watched battles take place, almost had her tree burnt to the ground, but she survived it all. Now, she just roams the camp, helping where she can, still learning what she can. Still, she is carefree as ever, just wanting to live her life to the fullest, because...Even trees died.
