RP Sample:The little black Mazda wouldn't drive fast enough as the terrifying black hounds raced after it, drooling and snarling and snapping their jaws in the cars direction as they loped along, bent on the death of seven year old Blake who sat in the backseat of the speeding car, eyes wide with fright as his nightmares were brought to life. Driving was his older half-brother, Adam, whose eyes were narrowed in concentration. Every once in a while he would glance in the rear view mirror and speak a number of unkind words that would make Blake's stepmother wash his mouth out with soap. In the passenger seat sat the weird goat thing that had identified himself as a Satyr, named Marco apparently, that was seemingly having a fantastic time tearing apart the seat and eating the stuffing. Of course Blake was confused, scared and horror-struck, but he had seen a lot of messed up thing in his life. The crossing guard that had sprouted wings and chased him seven blocks, his art instructor that had turned into a lizard, even the stable hand at his riding barn had turned into some bizarre creature. No one would believe him when he said it however. Doctors tossed words around like Schizophrenia and Dementia. It seemed probable, what with Blake already being diagnosed with Dyslexia and ADHD. The only one who would believe him was Adam, who seemed to be able to see the same things Blake could, to some extent at least. And then Adam had found Marco who had talked to Blake and here they were, running from demented black dogs with hideous faces and leering red eyes. Every few minutes Adam would glance up at the mirror and look at Blake, giving him a tight smile. "Just a few minutes. Then we'll be there." He would assure, and the goat thing would nod and bleat and add a few words of his own before going back to the car seat stuffing. It seemed that no matter how many times Adam snapped at him to cut it out, the goat thing just couldn't contain himself. After a while the scene simply became too much for Blake, and he turned his head away from his half-brother and the satyr, his eyes moving to the passing forest like he could simply be out for a drive, not running for his life. The things the Satyr had said made little sense. The Greek gods, the mythology was something he was familiar with. Instead of Winnie the Pooh and Clifford the Big Red Dog and Sesame Street as bed time stories, he would read about Jason and Perseus and Hercules and the Greek Gods and their heroes. They had been fascinating, interesting but nothing more. It was impossible, completely impossible for those stories to be real. And for he to be one of them, a Demi-God. A half-blood. It was just weird, just too much for the young boy to process too quickly. What wasn't, however, was that the black dogs had seemingly disappeared. Joy shot through the boy at the revelation, but it was short lived as the car skid to a stop, and then Adam was out of the car and opening his door and pulling him out quickly. The Satyr had stumbled out of the car awkwardly with the sneakers he had on his hooves, but once he pulled them off and discarded the unnecessary items he was moving as fast as they were. The car was all but forgotten and Blake was dragged along behind the two, through the forest to a place he had never known but constantly came up in Marco and Adam's conversation. Camp Half-blood. Where he would be safe. And then he was saying goodbye to the one person he had always had by his side in life, was being shoved through a weird gate that Adam couldn't get through, and watched as his half-brother faded from his life, like everything and everyone else he had ever known would as well.

Dressing Style:
Blake is usually seen in his orange camp half-blood t-shirt and a pair of light, faded jeans. However, if the attire is unavailable he will practically wear anything. He has no sense of fashion or style whatsoever and could care less about his clothes. He'll thrown on anything from vests to t-shirts to v-necks to sweaters and hoodies, if it fits and he has it he'll put it on without thinking twice.
General Appearance:
Blake stands 6'1 and weighs 180lbs. He has dirty blonde hair that is naturally mussed up and carrying volume as well as natural bronze colored highlights lining the lower layer of her hair. His eyes are a cool greenish grey, with grey being the main dominant color and light green hinting at the pupils and straying in small flecks throughout the iris. He is well built, his chest packed with muscle as well as his arms and legs. He has toned abs as well, not that anyone ever gets to see them. His general appearance is dark, angry and intimidating, and he usually has a scowl on his face.
Once again, Blake doesn't care what people think of him or his looks. Though several people have expressed their opinions, Blake just turns his head and ignores it. Despite being noted as attractive, Blake has never really been one for looks. They haven't exactly gotten him anywhere when it came to fighting monsters. That and his "throw anything on" persona prompts more giggling than swooning.
What Makes Them Them
Personality Description: Blake is a very carefree, go with the flow kind of guy. He's relaxed, calm and at ease the majority of the time. That, however, would only be when alone. Whenever he's around other people he gets instantly uncomfortable, untrusting, short tempered and sarcastic. In all honesty he hates being in the company of others, especially if he doesn't know them. It takes a long, long time for him to warm up to anyone, and most don't have the persistence to follow through toward a friendship with him. He has the tendency to lash out at people, and overall a deep hatred for unknown people flows through him. If you manage to stick around though, you've got a friend for life. Blake is extremely loyal, defending those he knows and loves to the death if necessary. He'll always ave your back and will always be there for you. He puts others needs before his own, and is always willing to listen. Blake also has an extreme sense of bravery and courage that will stretch out to everyone, even those he doesn't know. He won't stand by and let someone suffer, no matter what. Being a child of Athena Blake is, of course, extremely intelligent and an excellent strategist. He is very understanding and thoughtful. Be that as it may he can be very impulsive, slightly selfish, arrogant and self centered. He can be aggressive, head strong, pig headed and stubborn. However, he's really a gentleman once you get to know him, but if you don't...just stay out of his way.
