If Zeus knocked Heather out of Thalia’s Pine, he’d be sorry for it later.
It was rather gratifying to know that your powers extended to godly figures; especially since they were possibly the very ones who most needed taking down a notch. No—definitely. If a minor deity felt free to ditch her husband and child and come up thirteen years later, then who knew what a major god might do?
Leaning back against the rough bark, twenty feet up in the air, Heather sat and brooded. Technically she was outside the camp boundaries, since her legs were actually dangling on the “wrong” side of the tree, but the half-blood didn’t really care too much. It wasn’t like there were many monsters willing to put themselves at a disadvantage by climbing up and fighting at the same time. Maybe if they were smart enough to notice that her “sword” was really an awkward, bumbling thing that she’d stuck out of the way in a branch… Well, she highly doubted that there were any monsters with an IQ above twenty who wasted time rambling around a camp full of armed, dangerous half-blood in hope that one of them would just wander out and let him or her self be killed. Killed.
Heather repressed a shudder. Oh, being a demigod and having awesome magical powers was alright most of the time, but she still hadn’t gotten used to the whole “eat or be eaten” world out there. For goodness’ sake… just a couple years ago she was convinced that the most likely way she would die was by boredom.
Absent-mindedly, the child of Nemesis rubbed the area where her annoying purple bruise thingy was hidden, a spot near the upper part of her arm which was conveniently easy to hide with long-sleeved shirts. Being “sick” was bad enough--though she couldn’t for the life of her see why a purple bruise thing and a headache made you sick--but if she was sick and had to go to the crowded, noisy, blinding white and way too clean infirmary… well, it wasn’t going to happen.

Muse: Awesome.
Notes: I NEED MORE HEATHER THREADS, for goodness’ sake! She has the most muse out of all my characters at this point! (Not asking you to start a thread, just stating, btw. )
