Millenium spat out some blood. Laramie had told her that they were so close! So close! They were right on the border of this freaky camp, and now Millenium had to freaking fight off this damn hellhound, while Laramie - her satyr friend - hid behind a tree! She wasn't really amazing with the sword that was supplied to her, but it had come in handy, and she knew how to work it. The hellhound was large, and she was small ... and fast. This would, hopefully, be easy.
At least, that's what she had thought.
It turns out that this hellhound was fast two. And big. So now Millenium was in a bit of a hardship. She had tried to duck under the beasts' legs, and then it grabbed her with its monster-sized paw, and threw her, as if she were a doll! So now she was just hunching over, vomiting up her own blood, and thinking of how hard it was to be a demigod.
She went for another shot, sliding through the mud under the hellhound. A rush of adreneline surged through her, as the hellhound squatted to squashed her, but she was already behind it. She had mud all down the front of her sweatshirt, though, so that kind of sucked. Dumbfounded, the monster didn't turn around as fast. Millenium took no chances. She stabbed down on its back, and released her sword as the creature turned to dust. She loved this sword. It was the only weapon she had ever really trained with, except for one time when she had tried to shoot an arrow, and had failed desperately. She was trying to hit the tree, and it hit the tree that was seven trees down from that one.
Laramie poked her head from outside the tree, and Millenium nodded, signaling that the beast was gone. The cowardly female satyr clopped onwards, breaking through onto the bordersw.
Millenium started to acknowledge how nice the camp looked with the sun's rays casting on it. Half-Blood Hill was bustling with activity. She must have looked a bit strange, with a huge scar running down her cheek from her very recent fight, and her knuckles white from grasping her sword so hard, but then she acknowledged the fact that she probably didn't look weird in a camp full of half-gods.
The blonde girl smiled, taking in the golden light, and surveying the area around her. She smiled. The camp looked nice.
Like somewhere Millenium would like to stay for awhile.
