Dressing Style:
She likes to wear plaid or regular t-shirts or tank tops. For jeans she will wear skinny or regular. If its super hot out she will wear shorts. At the beach it's board shorts and a bikini top. For shoes, she will wear a wide variety. It usually depends on what she is doing that day. Riding, boots. Running, tennis shoes. Relaxing, flip-flops or skate shoes. Dances, maybe heels or flats.
General Appearance:
She is a very pretty girl, and she knows it. But she doesn't use it to her advantage or anything like that. She wears mainly just makeup around her eyes to make the blue pop even more than normal. She usually leaves her hair the way it is, meaning she doesn't straighten it. It is sort of wavy. She has her ears pierced but will only wear studs or small hoops. Never the big dangling earrings. She has a bracelet that her sister gave her and she NEVER takes it off. She is pretty tan from always being at the beach, but with her skin tone she looks sort of white. If you know how she looks in the winter though, you could tell she is tan.

Personality Description:
Sara is a very social and nice girl. She is one who will go up to you and just talk about completely random things. She's fairly bubbly and likes to spend her time around people instead of by herself. She makes friends really easy and it is rare for someone to absolutely hate her. Though I'm sure there are people that can because she can talk your ear off. Sometimes she finds herself rambling and will cat h herself and apologize.
Beware though, she is EXTREMELY protective of her sister. Her twin is deaf, so if Sara sees anyone looking at Tara and laughing she will automatically think they are laughing at her. She doesn't like that one bit. She will go up to you and demand to know what's so funny and if it has anything to do with her sister she will make you apologize. When she gets angry, she gets scary.
There are times when Sara is serious though. When studying and practicing her focus is entirely on that. She will not stop until she's finished with whatever she is doing unless someone literally pulls her away from it.

Family and History
Personal History:
Nora was a very beautiful country woman. She lived on a farm in Oregon that had both forests and a beach on it. One on opposite sides. She grew up around horses and there at the farm. It was her parents after all and they inherited it to her when they died at a young age. It was there that Nora met the man of her dreams.
She had ridden her horse, Imperial Dynasty who was a registered quarter horse, down to the beach when she saw him. He was tall with black hair and sea green eyes. She herself had blonde hair and blue eyes, which her daughters would take after. She was a little apprehensive to approach him in the first place. He was different and he was on her private property. But William, as she came to know him by, had ridden his horse, Umbra, to this hidden beach. He claimed to have found it by mistake but he was glad he did.
He fell in love with her and she did him. They had a wonderful relationship but he never told her what he really was and what their daughters would become. A couple years later little Sara and Tara were born. Nora was ecstatic but when she told William he told her he had to leave. She never saw Poseidon again.
The girls grew up a fairly normal night, though from the beginning it was obvious that Tara was deaf. Nora adapted to this and learned sign language. Even the twins found a way to communicate and it wasn't long before Sara was learning sign language. They would go down to he beach a lot since it was obvious the girls loved the beach almost as much of their father. Though they looked like their mom, Nora couldn't help the feeling of longing she got for William when she would see the girls playing in the water. It would give her so many memories.
On their seventh birthday the girls were allowed to choose a horse of their own from the pickings her mom had. Right away the girls knew which ones they wanted. They were able to see through the mist after all and could tell two of the horses were Pegasi. Their mom thought they were making it up and since the girls could communicate telepathically with them the Pegasi had told them not to tell her their secret. They would spend all day with their "horses" and when their mom wasn't looking the Pegasi would fly them into the air. Since Umbra was still in the barn, and the girls knew he was also a Pegasi, Sara took his German name and used another word for night and darkness. Her black female Pegasi was named Nacht.
It was around their ninth birthday that things started to get weird. They would come home crying after playing in the forest. They would talk about these dogs that would attack them. Of course their mom told them to never go in there again. But that didn't stop the hellhounds. One night, the eve before the girls tenth birthday, Sara was sitting in Nacht's stall. She was telling little Sara Bout this place called Camp Half-Blood. It would be a safe place for her.
Determined that the reason the hellhounds were going after the her and her sister, Sara vowed to leave the day after her birthday. She thought that they would follow her and leave her sister alone. Their birthday came and it was marvelous. She had given her sister a necklace and in turn had gotten a bracelet. But the next day Sara planned to leave at nightfall. She wanted to spend another fun-filled day with her sister. It was just that, fun-filled. But all good things come to an end at some point and they got in an argument. Sara resolved it as fast as possible so she wouldn't leave on a sour note, but even then she felt bad for leaving after that.
Once her sister was in bed, she grabbed a bag full of some clothes and apples and climbed out their window. When she arrived at Nacht's stall she told her Pegasi to wait a moment before running off to Shura's stall. She slipped the Pegasi an apple and begged him not to tell her sister where she went off too. She played the card in which it would be better for her to stay here than leaving. Knowing how protective he was of her sister she knew it would work. She ran back over to Nacht feeding her an apple before climbing on the Pegasi's back. She had tears streaming down her face as she got onto Nacht's back and flew away from her home.
When she arrived at camp at ten years old on the back of a Pegasi, Chiron knew that her dad was probably Poseidon. But he couldn't prove that until she was claimed. He had no idea she had a twin sister or why she had ran away from home. Instead, he sent a satyr to report to Nora telling her what had happened. Nora was distraught. She had wanted to send Tara with the satyr but feared for her deaf daughter so she didn't.
When the satyr arrived home empty handed Sara was upset. She told Chiron she had a twin and Chiron said Tara would come when the time was right. She hadn't wanted her sister her exactly but she knew she would make friends with the other here. But she was also glad she wasn't here. She didn't want people making fun of her twin. She fell into camp life easily and on her eleventh birthday was claimed. She had been by the ocean and had stepped inside of it with her surfboard when the trident appeared above her head.
She had been ecstatic and had raced away front the beach to Chiron. Chiron helped her move from the Hermes cabin to the Poseidon cabin that night. The next year she spent all of her time at the beach. She learned how to manipulate the water, how to breathe in it, how to create small earthquakes, found out that she could basically sit on the bottom of the ocean, and knew what her coordinates were in the ocean.
She would tire quickly but loved to do it. Six years of camp have made her into a great fighter with her powers and an okay one with pure skill. She rather likes the sword and dagger compared to a bow. She still practices sign language and is learning more for the day when her sister comes to camp. She lives flying over the ocean with Nacht and will actually dive down from Nacht's back into the ocean. She can't wait to see her sister again and hopes it will be soon.
