It was late in the evening, everyone was busy in some form or another walking about the camp on a mission. There were a few Hephaestus kids on their way back to the Forges, one of her siblings on the arm of a boy making their way down to what seemed like the fireworks beach and one of the Hermes boys sneaking into the camp store. Everything was normal at camp as she had come to learn over the past 2 months. Everyone had kind of developed their own routine at camp and tried not to stray from it. Sarina had her own routine too she had camp activities with her siblings in the morning then she did some sword training with the Hermes cabin because she felt more connected to that cabin more then the others...even her own. Then in the evening she did some of her individual training in the woods when it was darker and easier for her to be sneaky.

As you could tell Sarina is a lot different then most of the Aphrodite kids she is adventurous and doesn't mind doing a little extra hard work. Her Aunt said she was just like her father which always warmed her heart. She missed her father deeply but tried not to dwell on it to much. She was on her way back from her evening training in the woods with a bit of mud tangled in her hair from falling down in the woods, she was also very clumsy. However it did not faze her. As she headed to the Amphitheater she passed the lake and made a wide circle around it, she hated water.

Sarina reached the Amphitheater and smiled, this was one of her favorite places on camp. She liked to sit in the many seat to accommodate for the many campers of the Olympian and Minor Gods and Goddesses that had cabins and children here. She didn't know how many she just knew there were a lot. Sarina moved forward and into the stands, she found one right in the middle that if you were on stage you probably wouldn't see her. She liked it that way. Sarina sat there in peace as she listened to some of the Apollo kids sing to songs she didn't know and play instruments that looked nothing like instruments.

Klaus walked up and down his new camp for half an hour now. Some kids told him his cabin was down by the lake, which made him even more nervous. Klaus, hard to believe of an apparent son of Poseidon, couldn't swim. He knew alot of Poseidon, and the other greek gods and goddesses, through all the literature he had picked up. In fact, the stories of Poseidon had fascinated him the most, not thinking that he could possibly the son of a great God. Not that Klaus thought any less of himself, or his family, it just never crossed his mind. He passed the Hermes cabin and the Hephaestus cabin three times now and has still gotten nowhere. As he was in search, he passed several different campers, from some who were holding hands to others who were sharing angry glances. He spotted a large ampitheatre and stopped in his tracks. The architecture in the building was phenomenal. Klaus walked up to the side of the building and placed his hand upon the wall. The exquiste skill and taste of such an amazing architect was the only thought in his brain. He stepped inside and heard voices, someone was inside singing and playing beautiful instruments. Klaus didn't recognize the tune at first but quickly understood them as greek musical theatre. Stepping up to the balcony, he sat down and admired both the campers on stage and the wonderful work of such an amazing place. It gave him hope that the coming year here would be magical.

Sarina sat in the stands quietly listening as the sun began to set, she still had plenty of time before curfew and the harpies would come and get her. She was terrified of the harpies and never chanced a run in with them. However she could not speak the same for her siblings, who sometimes snuck out to meet their love interest that day. Sarina wasn't really good at the whole love thing. Her own that is, she could match anyone at camp and give love advice but when it came to her own she was lost. The apollo kids started packing up as the sun was setting and the stars were coming out.

Looking up she could see what was left of the constellations, many had disappeard over the years from pollution. Mortals they were always throwing their trash in the water or just on the ground, it disgusted her. Anyways she looked up and admired the stars, leaning back a bit to much she saw the forming of a shadow behind her. Sarina jumped from her seat spinning around to face the shadow, dagger already drawn, staring towards the silouette of a person, a boy.

Sarina knew most of the campers at Camp Half Blood but this boy, she had no clue. Never had she seen him around camp nor anywhere else. Still her dagger raised she called "Who's there." Sarina squinted in the direction of the figure. Although Sarina acted strong and fearless she was very paranoid a lot of the time, however she kept that hidden, the Ares kids would tear her apart if they knew. Her face stayed like stone showing no emotion as she advanced slowly on the silouette.

[Klaus Combs]

He had been too focused on the great architecture that he hadn't noticed the older girl in front of him. He had jumped back when she had stepped out of her seat. She had a knife with her and it scared him that he nearly cried. What could she want with him, he had nothing to offer, nothing to give. She was probably just being mean to hurt Klaus's feelings.

He looked up at her, tears in his eyes, hoping she'd get bored and leave him alone. Then Klaus got an idea, maybe she wasn't so mean. Now that he thought about it, he kinda unknowingly snuck up on her. Maybe he could get to know her and they could become friends and have adventures together. They would be great heroes and be celebrated by everyone who knew. The gods would make stars that told of their great adventures.

Klaus's mind was starting to run away with him and he knew the first step was to get to know each other. "My name's Klaus, and I got lost looking for my cabin. I stopped in here because I was astounded by the architecture of this theater." Klaus spoke with greater enthusiasm than he had planned.

The boy jumped back, it made her feel good that she didn't look as weak and defenseless as she felt. While trying to keep her breathing under control she advanced forward lowering her dagger slightly. If this guy was the enemy he wouldn't be scared of a petite girl like herself. She squinted into the dark trying to make out if she knew this person or not. However she didn't think so. Sarina was pretty much friends with every kid at camp except for the Hades kids, they creeped her out. However that was two kids in the whole camp. Mitchell Frost and Natasha Pierce.

The boy lifted his head a little light playing off his face, water. Were those tears in his eyes? Sarina lowered her dagger and tucked it away. Oh man she thought the Ares kids are gonna tear the mickey out of this guy she thought hoping he never had to do any training with them. As she advanced his features became a little more clearer, she assumed he must be a Hermes kid.

Sarina smiled as the boy introducing himself as Klaus started to explain himself. She looked at him a bit more closely, taking his face in her hands she examined his face. She did this to some people to see if they were lying. She was quite good determining liars just by the way their eyes moved or looked. She looked into Klaus'....eyes like the sea. "Oh dear" she said blinking a few times and removing her hands from his face. "Well it's very nice to meet you Klaus.I'm Sarina" she said extending her hand with a smile. "Who's your parent?" she asked sweetly. Sarina was a Cabin Leader which meant she obligated to help people, which she didn't mind, she liked helping people. She smiled at Klaus, he really liked architecture, wait.....this wasn't making any sense.
