He dresses almost like a bad boy. Or a greaser really. He likes to wear black leather jackets with the collar upturned. Chuck Taylor's or boots for footwear. Jeans, both torn and not torn. Usually will wear white t-shirts or just a simple color. Usually doesn't wear designer clothes, preferring to buy the simple clothes to show that u can be stylish without spending $100s of dollars.
General Appearance:
He likes to keep himself well kept. But every once in awhile you can tell where he has been working thanks to the oil or grease on him or his clothes. He is a well-built man. By the shape of his body and arms, you can tell that he spends many a day in the forges or cabin building things or repairing things. He is also quite tan.

Personality Description:
Damon is kind of a secluded individual. Sure he likes to party every now and then, but he would much prefer his time to be spent in the forges or cabin. He enjoys the work that comes with staying there. It is what he plans on doing in the future. When he does come out, he likes to sit and watch people. Even though it doesn't seem like he would, he loves to hear the latest camp drama. He likes to keep up to date.
If you do decide to come up to him and talk to him, you can find him to be a lovely young man. If your on his good side that is. He enjoys a good joke, and all that. He keeps his friends close, along with girls. He enjoys a girls company. In fact, he thrives in it. Especially if that girl is someone he really loves. When he falls hard for someone, he falls hard. He isn't a complete romantic, but he knows what girls like to hear. What they like to receive. Only he will keep them wanting more by not giving them everything their heart desires. He is twisted in that way.
Of course, as I said earlier, all that is if you get on his good side. If you get on his bad side then watch one. If he keeps his friends closer, then you can only imagine he keeps his enemies closer. He may appear friendly to them, but his smirk or curl of his upper lip shows otherwise. He will be snide, snarky, and devious to those he doesn't like or approve of. Not only that, but he is a fighter. If you push his buttons to bad, then prepare for the fight of your life.

Family and History
Personal History:
Katherine Lane was young when she met Hephaestus. He was known then as Paul Jersey. Katherine was only 18 and she felt herself falling in love with the mysterious man who was 21 and would come into her fathers mechanic shop on a weekly basis. Of course he was going there because young Katherine caught his eye. He could say that he fell in love also. She was beautiful. With her dark brown, wavy hair that fell down her back. Her clear and soft looking cream colored skin. Her warm brown amber eyes that looked as if they could warm your very soul.
Katherine fell in love with him for his looks as well. He was a tall young man. Looking to be around 6'3". She was only 5'5", but she loved looking into his deep black eyes. Eyes that seemed to have almost no pupil. His skin was tanned slightly from what she could only assume was working in the sun since he looked like he did that. Even his hair, which was a deep brown color and went down a little on his neck. Then they spoke.
It started out as a few shared words back and forth about the business and her plans for college. Then there conversations would get deeper. She would tell him about her friends, boys she liked and had a fancy too. How her dad didn't want her being a mechanic like he was, but she enjoyed it. Paul loved that she loved it. It was a shared interest they had and he would help her perfect it since her dad wouldn't help her.
Those were their dates. They would spend hours together. Her dad at first didn't approve, but when his little girl would come home with a huge grin on her face, he couldn't say no. After all, he hadn't seen her that happy since her mom had been alive. She had died five years before, and Katherine had been so upset. So they started dating. They dated for a couple years before things got intimate. She was 22 when she found out she was pregnant. But she was also scared to tell both her father and Paul. When she started showing, is when she actually sat them down and told them. Her dad was furious. She was having a kid out of wedlock. Paul was silent. He was ashamed.
But later when they were alone, he told her that he would be there for her, just they couldn't get married. It was Katherine's turn to be furious. She didn't understand. So he explained. He explained everything. Who he was, what their child was be. She was shocked. And silent. Silent for weeks. When weeks became months, she finally spoke. She agreed to his help. But only if he would at least visit his son once a year. He agreed. So Damon was born.
A year later when Hephaestus came to visit him, Katherine and him went on a date. This date went extremely well. They ended up at her house and nine months later Stephan was born. The two brothers were inseparable. They did everything together. Ran around the shop, played, school, everything you could imagine. Damon was a pretty good student. Stephan was a better student. Stephan was better in school, but Damon was better in sports. Stephan was better with the ladies, Damon was better with cars and motorcycles. Stephan was more outgoing and talkative, Damon was more reserved. But with their differences, they also had similarities.
They both lived fire. They almost had an obsession with it. Hephaestus told Katherine not to worry. He was after all still coming year after year. Although him and Katherine weren't dating or anything. She would disappear for the day when he came. This was a just in case thing so that no more kids would've been born. They still liked each other too much.
When Damon wasn't doing school work or hanging with Stephan he was in the garage with his grandpa. He loved working on cars and motorcycles and Michael loved having a grandson that shared his interest. It was like the son he never had. Not that he didn't love Katherine any less. When Damon turned 14, Hephaestus showed up. He told Katherine that Damon needed to go to camp. This year. When Katherine asked about Stephan, Hephaestus told her to wait until he was 14. He told her they could come home after every summer. She agreed and let him take Damon.
Before Damon left he went to Stephan. They made a pact that in the summer, while Damon was gone and until Stephan could join him, they wouldn't get mad at each other. Damon for Stephan doing what fun activities his mom would have him do and staying in the shop. Stephan got Damon leaving him behind. They told each other that when they saw each other there would be no anger. And to prove it they burned each other. They had learn to control fire and summon it with their hands. So they did. They held their hands to each others pec. The one opposite the heart. With the sacred animal of Hephaestus burned into each other, it was a solid remembrance of each other.
So Damon went to camp. He was pleased to say he enjoyed it. Within a couple weeks he was claimed. He had been in the forges working on a sword. This sword just wasn't working. So when he summoned his own fire, the anvil appeared over his head signaling Hephaestus' claiming. He of course moved into the cabin that night. He loved coming here. He almost didn't want to leave. So when he told his mom he would stay, Katherine was upset and so was Stephan.
The next summer, Stephan arrived. He was furious at Damon and when they were finally in the same cabin they had a tussle. But in the fighting, one of their shirts ripped. Right over the pec. They stopped and stared and it for a minute before pulling away from each other, only to come back with a hug and say sorry to each other. From then on they acted like nothing happened.
With their mom upset, they decided to go back after summer and come back the next summer. They both enjoyed camp. Enjoyed it a lot and would spend forever in the forges often beach. Although Stephan preferred the beach. Damon plans on staying here and then leaving when he is 21. He will come back during summer and be a counselor, but other than that he wants to go to college to learn to be a mechanic.
