Damon was tired of this. He had been in the forge all day long. Sure he was a son of Hephaestus, but too many people chose not to take care of their weapons. So far he had fixed three swords, two shields, four daggers and knives, and a bow. Not to mention making some arrows for that bow since the ones that were with it were beyond repair. His eyes scanned the table in front of him. There were still many, many weapons left to fix. But at the moment, he didn't feel like it. It was lunch time anyways.
So he walked out and towards where he could get something to eat. He was starving and his stomach was growling in agreement. His mind pictured all the foods that he would be able to eat. But it stayed on one in particular. T-bone steak. He hadn't had one of those in quite awhile. The last time being when he was home. He knew he wouldn't get something like that here, but still it was nice to wish.
He got there a little late. But why wouldn't he? He had been the last one in the forge. When he saw his siblings he raised an eyebrow. Usually at least one of them was in there with him. Especially on a day like this. A day in which rain was pouring down. Everyone was huddled together to preserve their warmth. When he walked up to his brother and sat down beside him, they looked at each other before lighting their fingertips and flinging the fire in the bowl in the middle of the table.
Their spot and table was instantly flooded with warmth as they warmed their hands on it. Turning to Stephan as he ate a grilled cheese and sipped some hot chocolate, that was still on the super hot side, he spoke. "So where were you little brother?" Stephan turned from his food to look at his brother. "Yeah. Sorry about not meeting you there. I got lost in the project I'm currently working on in the cabin tunnels." His brother looked sheepish for a moment, but Damon just shrugged it was fine.
They could always hang out later. As they left the dining pavilion awhile later, Stephan turned to Damon as Elizabeth Smith walked by. Damon knew what his brother was going to say before he said it. Stephan had been crushing on the daughter of Aries for awhile now. Damon had to agree with him. She was a nice looking ad sweet girl for who her dad was. He nodded his head. "Go. Tell me about it later." His brother broke into a grin and walked off after her.
Damon sighed and stuffed his hands in his leather jacket pockets. He put his head down for a moment but when he heard someone squealing he looked up. Sure enough there was a group of girls standing around one who wasn't wearing a jacket and looked cold. The girls parted and he heard one of them say in a high pitched voice something about catching a cold and getting the sickness. Maybe they were in the same cabin?
The group walked away leaving the girl. Not really feeling cold himself he walked over to her. Taking off his jacket he draped it over her shoulders. She should've been warmed up pretty fast. But then he noticed who it was. "Lucy? Why aren't you wearing a jacket?" He looked at her with a small frown. What was she thinking? She looked chilled to the bone.
