Hair: Honestly, Lucy's hair is pretty mousy in color, but it's very pretty on her and compliments her skin tone. It's naturally slightly wavy and looks as though she's spent the day on the sandy shore, but she usually straightens it because she thinks it looks better that way. It falls to roughly five inches past her shoulders, depending on whether she has straightened it or not.
Eyes: Lucy's eyes are a dark grey color like a storm cloud. They are rather wide and she can convey plenty of emotion through them. Her eyelashes are lightly colored, but they are thick and long and she often wears black or dark brown mascara, sometimes smoky eyeliner in addition to that. Her eyebrows are a darker, though similar, shade than her hair and are usually plucked perfectly.
Height: Lucy is five feet, seven inches. She thinks of herself as looking awkward and gangly, even though her height is envied by many people.
Weight: Lucy weighs about 128 lbs.

Dressing Style: Lucy, unlike the majority of her siblings, does care about how she looks. She likes wearing simply colored things, usually pastels more than neons. Black, white and grey are her favorite colors, and so she wears them often. She'll wear skirts and dresses more than she wears pants and she is a big fan of layering. She can nearly always pull off a look that might not look good on someone else, because of her neutral coloring. When it comes to makeup, she usually sticks to the natural look. Mascara, blush, lip gloss... sometimes a bit of liner or shadow if she's feeling good that day. Either good or overly self-conscious, that is.
General Appearance: Most people think that she's pretty... she doesn't think so. She walks while looking down at her feet instead of standing up straight. She sometimes wears her hair hanging in her face so you can't see her face. If you saw her, you'd think that she was pretty... those who know her back story don't know what in Tartarus to think, though. Oh, i's complicated.
What Makes Them Them
Personality Description: Most people wonder how Ares could be Lucy's father. She is nothing like any of her siblings — aggressive, somewhat arrogant, itching for a fight. Like many girls her age, Lucy fights verbally, not physically. That is, if she fights at all. She needs lessons when it comes to standing up for herself... she'll become a doormat if someone is pushing her around. She doesn't know how to speak up.
Lucy is, essentially... the epitome of insecurity. She seems calm and all collected, but she hurts inside and is a complete mess. There are plenty of examples. First of all... Lucy is a closet lesbian. She's very confused about herself and her sexual orientation, and she doesn't talk to anyone about it... and she insists she's straight, since she doesn't want to stick out in the slightest way. Then there's her bulimia. Almost nobody knows she has it.. well, nobody, aside from close friends and siblings, and that would only be by accident... she knows she should stop, but she can't.
Lucy is generally polite, however. At first glance, or during a simple conversation, one would just think she was your average teenage girl. Your average nice teenage girl. However, her flaws quickly become apparent. She gets easily nervous when talking to people.
In addition, she is extremely loyal and helpful... always willing to lend a hand.

Family and History
Personal History: Ares and Lois Chandler did not meet normally. It all started with an elevator. Yes, an elevator. Lois worked in the Empire State Building, and obviously, Ares was there. It was 9:34 PM precisely when a crack of thunder, a bolt of lightning, and a power outage occurred. Lois and Ares were stuck in the elevator of the Empire State, alone. Lois was bringing a huge box of Noah’s New York Bagels upstairs for tomorrow morning’s meeting when the power went out. Ares was annoyed at the prospect of having to be stuck with this mortal woman for the night, but soon got used to it...and it turned out that Lois was just his type. They arranged to meet in Lois’s office on Tuesday once the elevator started, four hours later. They did, and they had a fine time. Lois was flirty, pretty, and gruff, and Ares was fascinated by her. They started dating three months afterwards, and rushed into marriage one year afterward and did what they shouldn’t have. When Lois got pregnant, Ares told her who he was and offered proof. Lois was sworn to secrecy. Three months after the secret was spilled, they moved to Lake Oswego, Oregon, for Lois’s new job.
When Ares and Lois were on the brink of divorce, Lucy was born. Lucy had Lois’s honey-colored hair and model face. Ares explained to Lois he needed to leave, not just for the gods’ sake, but for Lois as well. Soon after, Lois married Paul Mackelroy, a real estate agent. Together, when Lucy was three, they had a son, Casey Mackelroy. As Casey grew, Lucy got shunned as Lois and Paul helped nurture the baby, who had been born with a port-wine stain. Lucy started craving attention at this point, but as she neared twelve years old, the attention-craving morphed into depression. Her self-esteem was never high to begin with, but then it got worse as she was ignored. It didn't help that Paul had never been fond of Lucy, thinking that she took time away from him and Lois. One day, he mentioned casually that he thought Lucy had grown. Not taller. Wider.
Lucy was eleven, and that was the first time she forced a toothbrush down her throat.
Once Lucy turned twelve, Lois remembered a secret that had been whispered from Ares to her over the pillow at midnight. There was a place where her child could be safe.
That place was Camp Half-Blood. Lois took Lucy there, and Lucy was claimed three weeks after her arrival.
