The voice was familiar, yet solemnly heard by Luna. It sent thrills through her spine, the almost comforting voice of her godly mother, who had given birth to get for reasons the demigod did not know. The dreams were exciting, yet to Luna, the were also a symbol of hope. Just a friendly god version of, "Hey I didn't forget about you, I just want to wait a bit to claim you." Why her mother wanted to wait to claim Luna was beyond the young demigod, and her mother had made it clear that her daughter shouldn't try to figure out who has children who can talk to dogs, since that would make it so simple.
"I cannot speak long, Luna." Her mother said, the familiar voice slightly cold, perhaps with a small trace of worry- did goddesses worry? "This illness plaguing your camp- it seems to be spreading. You I can assure are clear of it, my Luna. But I worry perhaps you will not be so lucky."
"Do not worry yourself, mother, please-"
"Luna. You are not my only child at camp, do not be fooled. I am not a virgin goddess who figured out how Athena creates brain children." At this, Luna nodded at her mother, and leaned against one of the shadow-cloaked walls always in this dream this goddess chose for her daughter. The demigod may not have been a child of Athena, but she still had intelligence, a trait which could come naturally. Most likely, another child of Luna's mother had become ill.
"I must go, my daughter. Stay safe. This is one of the last times I can speak to you."
With that, Luna carefully propped herself onto her pillows, on a top bunk in the Hermes cabin. A faded gray bag rested on the foot of the bed, filled with most of Luna's possessions, apart from two pillows and a flannel blanket from home, currently on the bed. Hermes may have been the god of thieves, but Luna had confidence in the fact that the other demigods would probably not steal her items- canine monsters weren't extremely hard to find, and the last time a Hermes kid had tried to steal her stuff, that threat worked awfully well.
"I guess I'll be out of this overcrowded hellhole soon, then." Luna said to herself, quietly enough that she hoped the other members of the cabin wouldn't wake. It was overcrowded here, and disease might soon overrun, assuming it was contagious. Her mother wanted her out of here, soon, Luna could guess. She couldn't wait to see her cabin mates.
But wait, was her mother an Olympian or minor god? Luna had never grown plants, wasn't an immortal Hunter, wasn't exactly Athena-intelligent, and the demigod would probably take Celestial bronze to her throat if Aphrodite was her mother. That meant Mom was probably a minor god. There hadn't been much illness in that cabin, of Luna remembered properly.
Mom had good judgment, Luna could tell that.

General Appearance:

What Makes Them Them
Personality Description:
Luna, at first glance, appears emotionally fragile. She's young, she's quiet, she likes playing childishly. However, she isn't quote that fragile- she's mentally mature. She can give others the cold shoulder easily. However, being playful and curious is the most clear part of her personality, beyond a shy and quiet mask easily seen through. She understands that youth is not a thing to waste, and wants to take advantage of an excuse to fool around and use it to its fullest.
However, in the deeper depths of her personality, she's understanding, she's knowledgeable. Although perhaps not a genius of Athena, or oracle of Apollo, she's always a step ahead of life, almost always predicting what's next- always good at giving advice, which sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Also hidden amongst these understanding, shoulder-to-cry-on personality, is also her emotional side- the sort with a wall that shatters like a baseball bat against glass almost whenever it's found. The side that causes hours of negativity and emotional stress whenever it cracks.

•To go on a quest.
Powers:
For being the daughter of a minor goddess, Luna is more powerful than some offer minor demigods, but certainly not as powerful as an Olympian demigod. She can cast offensive spells, which she prefers to do rather than using weapons. However, her area of magic expertise revolves around magically changing one thing to another- for example, a book into a teddy bear, or a painting into a jacket. Her magical abilities range far, but still, it is most powerful in offensive magic, through practice, and naturally through changing things.
In addition, Luna knows how to manipulate the Mist, an ability granted through inborn ability, as Hecate maintains the Mist, and training from her mother, as well as practice.
Which means Luna's powers are:
•Advanced spells and potion making
•Mist manipulation
•Communicating with dogs (Hecate's sacred animal is the dog)
Family and History
Personal History:
Personal History:
The reason why Luna was born, why Hecate took a liking to her father, goes back years before her birth. The first Luna was a daughter of Hecate, and a close friend of this Luna's- Luna II's- father, a man by the name of Jason Ceresia, who was a clear-sighted mortal. Constantly, Luna- Luna I- was troubled with monsters, and doubled with her hardly being able to see through the Mist despite her being a demigod, relied on Jason to identify monsters. Thus, they became best friends. Eventually, a satyr came to pick up Luna I when she was twelve years of age for the summer- the summer she was claimed by her godly parent. Hecate promised to eventually grant Jason a favor for protecting one of her children.
Luna I explained everything to Jason. Their friendship continued on, and once they became adults, they became married. Luna I went away to Camp Half-blood to be a counselor, carrying Jason's child. Following an assassination by someone slipping her a hamburger with poisoned Gorgon blood, she and her unborn child died, leaving Jason in grief. He called upon Hecate to bear a child of him and the goddess, using her favor, in hopes that the child would be just like Luna I. Eventually, Luna II was born.
Luna II, unlike Luna I, was able to see through the Mist almost as perfectly as her father. However, Luna II's father was upset- Luna II wasn't much like how he remembered Luna I. Luna II ran away at the age of nine, at the urging of a mysterious woman in her dreams who called herself Luna II's mother. Jason had never explained anything to his daughter. He had simply said that her mother wasn't with them, and Luna never questioned him.
It was after Luna ran away she first discovered her magical abilities, and later fought off her first monster. Her mother appeared to her often, always cloaked in shadows, always speaking in a voice that filled Luna with joy, knowing that this woman was her mother. Guiding her to Camp Half-Blood. Once she was there, her mother promised that Luna would be claimed on her 12th birthday, and Luna never questioned her. Luna remained in the Hermes cabin, waiting to be claimed, although knowing she was not forgotten, for her mother spoke to her on rare occasions still. Luna waits for her mother to reveal herself.
Few but Hecate know it is because Luna is Luna I reborn, trying for Elysium a second time, and is simply going to claim her at twelve once again.
