RP Sample:The sound of an oncoming train jolted Haynes awake and he sat upright like a flash of lightning on his bed. He was covered in sweat, his hair nearly damp and his bare chest glistening with sweat from the moonlight shining through his window. Panting, he nervously brought his hand up to his head as if there were a huge gash in it, yet there was none to be seen. Was it just a dream? he thought to himself, his mind seemingly exhausted. The world seemed to be spinning, and he lazily climbed out of bed, stumbling over his steps as his feet hit the cold ground. The room was dark except for the moonlight shining, and the air was stiff cold.
Sleep had not come easy to Haynes these past days. He had done everything he could to get help. Pills, therapy, even hypnosis, yet the 21 year old could not get any rest at all. Insomnia seemed to have grasped him in his hands and didn't let go. The air grew more frigid as he entered the kitchen in his apartment, and he could hear the faint snoring from his roommate in the other room. This made him feel a little better, since living alone was not quite his cup of tea. Ever since he was a child, he hated being by himself. It was something that his mother waved off when he was a child, yet as he grew older, it stuck to him like glue.
