well... not my first ever plot bunny. But on here. C:
HELLO ALL. I am Bee. This is my beautiful character.
Iris Caverly
Child of Poseidon.
Iris is seventeen years old. She's been at Camp Half Blood for four years. She is single and straight... well... into guys. Her father is Poseidon.
Her mother knew perfectly well who her father was. She would tell her daughter stories of adventures he'd had. Her mother knew her greek mythology and she rather obviously favoured the name Iris over every other. Which is the reason for the seventeen year old sharing a name with the goddess of messaging.
Iris didn't have a depressing past. Although, she was sort of rudely pushed out. But to Iris, it wasn't a problem. Iris only likes to see the good in people. Even though these people were virtually worming her out of their family once her mother married. Fortunately for Iris, before camp started, a satyr found her as something attacked her school... with her in it. The kids around her were freaked out by what they saw in the mist.
Plus: friendly; lively; keen; not prejudiced; easily amused.
Minus: stubborn; clumsy; easily wooed.
Iris likes to take things into her own account. She gets frustrated when she sees people doing something wrong (or what she thinks is wrong) and might take over. She only ever means the best and doesn't see what she's doing wrong. But it just makes so much more sense for her.
Although Iris is proud of her father and of her heritage, she does not like to show it. So only people super close to her would know of this. Otherwise, everyone seems to think she dislikes being a child of one of the Big Three. Not that she lets it look like she's ungrateful and annoying, it's just the sort of 'I've never ever seen my father in the entirety of my life' hatred she likes to show. Only in secret or in times of need will she use her godly powers - this excluding the aquatic survival... she sort of can't help that. Overall, she prefers fighting monsters with a sword of celestial bronze. When it comes to that, she's swift and agile and can move (dangerously... for the opponent) in a blink of an eye.
Fears: death as a whole. Although she would probably like a Hades kid (she even respects Hades), she doesn't like the idea of seeing someone die or... just dying. Yet she'll still act recklessly and not realise the possible consequences of her actions.
Ambitions: At some point in her life... she wants to give her father a hug. That's all she wishes more. Just a fatherly hug which she knows she'll probably never get. There's no harm in wishing for it, however.
Any ideas?
