WHEN YOU'RE AT THE END OF THE ROAD & YOU LOST ALL SENSE OF CONTROL ,
& your thoughts have taken their toll
---------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------Once Summer and Bailey had dropped off Tal in the infirmary, Summer had sat down outside of it. She felt horrible. Worse than that actually. She was miserable. Tears were rolling down her face as she looked out. Campers passed by and cast some awkward glances at her, and when they would come up to ask her why she was crying, she would tune them out and turn away. Only when her brother walked up did she say anything. "It actually happened Mitch." She looked up to him but he had sat down next to her.
His arm went over her shoulder. She didn't know how Tal was doing, and she felt bad but what could she do? She couldn't heal. She could just injure. She put her hands in her head and cried silently. Her shoulders jumping with each sob the only movement she made. After a couple minutes of uneasiness Mitch walked away with a grimace knowing there was nothing he could do for his sister.
Around ten minutes later one of her siblings walked out. "Well. She lost a lot of blood. But she's stable now. What happened Summer? You aren't known for your violence." Summer wiped her eyes with her hands and looked to Aria. "You wouldn't believe you if I told you. Besides. It will probably spread like fire anyways. Or not." She stood up on shaky legs and looked down at her sister. "So is she awake then?" Aria stood up again and looked to her. "When I walked out she wasn't. But she could be now."
Summer nodded and started to walk back inside. "Oh and Summer. Be careful with what you say to her. Tal was already sort of moody and this might make it worse." She nodded her head slowly and continued her walk inside. How would she speak to Tal? She hadn’t meant for any of this to happen. She cautiously approached the bed. Even though she couldn’t heal, she wished and prayed every day for the kids that were in here to get better. But of course, her dad couldn't interfere all too much in the lives of kids. No, they had to go on a stupid quest.
The stupid quest would take away the cabin and infirmary leader. Poor Osaac didn't even really want to go on this quest. She frowned and pulled up a chair next to Tal's bed. As she sat, she eyed the bandages. She was about to ask Aria to come over and put on new ones or something when Tal started to stir. She waited until her head looked up from the blood soaked bandages before speaking. "I can't believe this actually happened. I hadn't meant to hurt you." Her eyes filled with tears that started brimming over the sides when she looked Tal in the face.
