Jason Cocoran or Ilo? Which one should Amber choose to take down to Fireworks Beach to watch fireworks with her? It was tough. They where both cute, her age, and in her league. Why did Amber have to be so cheerful, funny, and totally cute? Okay, that was just Aries being egotistical because Amber is baised off of Aries... anyway. It was annoying that she couldn't choose, but she needed to get a move on it already. And she couldn't take both, because then one could try to kiss her or something, then have the other get into a fight with the first. Okay, maybe Aries Amber is a bit - just a bit - egotistical.

She decided to ask Ilo, simply because he would be easier to get, since Amber was right on the edge of the forest. She strode into the woods in her sneakers (decorated with stars and stripes), shorts (also with stars and stripes), and her red shirt (not with stars and stripes), with her bag slung over her shoulder (guess? Yup. Stars and stripes). It was quite the Fouth of July outfit. She hoped it was cute enough, and didn't just look like some stars and stripes slapped together. Even though that's what it was... but she still didn't want it to look that way.

Despite her head injuries, Amber was feeling cheerful that day. She had woken with a proper amount of sleep (impossible, I know), and didn't feel the need to wear makeup. And since it was so hot, she was glad she didn't. It would prbably just end up feeling awkward. It was strange, considering she had been feeling totally emotional, crybaby-ish and self-counsious lately. After she cracked her skull open, her attitude went from happy (usually), to slightly depressed. Maybe it was the holiday that brought her happy nature back out?

''Ilo?'' Amber called, once inside the woods. ''Ilo!'' She callled. ''Let's go watch fireworks!'' She said a bit louder. It was already seven PM, and she didn't want to miss it. Although, it started at eight, so she doubted she would miss it. Thinking ahead, Amber had a blanket in her bag for them to lay on while they watched. The whole Hermes cabin/voulenteers had set up an hour long show. Amber didn't want to know where they got any fireworks for that, but she knew that they weren't poppers. They where huge ones that went all the way into the sky. They where setting them up at the end of Fireworks Beach, so that you could watch them from the water or the beach.

Even though they did it every year... the idea of fireworks in the hands of the Hermes cabin was simply frightening.
