This was it. She was finally going to do it. After a year of planning and wondering who her mother was, Teddy was leaving the camp, and going to find her. Taking a deep breath Theresa stuffed the remainder of her things into the bag and ventured out of the cabin and towards the woods. She chose to go at night hoping not to run into anyone. 'What would it matter if I did anyway, no one would miss me.' she thought, having not been at the camp for long she didn't know many of the people, the nymph wasn't really friends with any of the ones she did know.'Well, maybe Jenna would, but she is thinking about leaving in the future anyway.' The small blonde knew she had to do this. She had to find out who she really was. After all a little over a year ago she found out that she was something of a fairy tale, since then she has been searching for purpose, not sure who she was. Teddy felt that finding her mother would help.
Theresa stopped at the edge of the woods suddenly worried. Looking back she contemplated just going back to the cabin and revising the plan for another day. No Teddy had to do this today."You can do this Jones" she said trying to convince herself. closing her eyes she listened to the whispers of the trees letting them guide her in the right direction, she began the hike to freedom. Well freedom in a way she loved the camp. It was like home to the nymph. Just like it was for all the other kids and counselors. "I pray to the Gods and my ancestor Nymphs for the strength to take this journey." she whispered.
Every so often Teddy would jump at a the crack of a twig or the rustling of the few leaves that were still on the trees. Unfortunately the petite blonde knew that it was too late to go back now. It was too dark to even see the way back. Even if she did want to turn around she would've had to wait until morning to go. Trekking on she focused on the sounds of the whispering trees around her and the crunching of the snow beneath her feet. Theresa hummed a bit to herself the lyrics of a song, from the movie Anastasia. The song was called Journey to the Past, if Teddy was remembering correctly. That was one of her favorite movies to watch with her dad when she was little. Sighing the girl began to feel as if she was being followed. Looking around she saw nobody, but kept herself poised to attack if needed. Hand to hand combat was her strong suit. and if needed she could easily climb one of the nearby trees. Was this a friend, a foe, or her imagination.
