Dressing Style:
Ryan hates bright colors. It might make him seem like a dull character but he doesn't want to be one of those flamboyant characters that stand out in a crowd. The type of clothing he usually wears are dark and make it easy for him to maneuver because being a demigod and all, he's going to need to be able to run and fight. Simplistic clothing such as black T-Shirts and hoodies are the types of clothes you'll usually catch him in, although on the occasion he does wear a leather jacket.
Okay, so being at Camp Half-Blood means that he has to wear an orange T-Shirt. Yeah, he hates wearing it. Ryan finds it against the whole point of the camp trying to avoid attention from monsters, I mean with the T-Shirt they are easily identifiable. How many people do you see walking down the street with an orange T-Shirt with the logo of Camp Half-Blood on the front? Nobody.
General Appearance:
You simply wouldn't notice Ryan if he was walking down the street in the opposite direction. He's very elusive and holds little presence in public places. Perhaps it's because he's trained himself to stick to the shadows and wear dark clothing. Either way, he isn't stupid like his fellow campers and he isn't willing to let himself get caught by monsters. If you happened to see him however he emits a mysterious, dark aura which can lead to people believing that he's some sort of criminal youth that intends on mugging the next passerby.
After months in camp he has also started to gain an athletic body shape, so although he may be a little short compared to some people out there, he's still quite strong and packs a huge punch. Perhaps he could be labeled an underdog because in fights everybody expects him to drop but surprisingly he usually comes out on top. Though, this is also likely due to his reflexes and because he's a natural tactician.
Ryan also is a little unorthodox when it comes to his looks. He has a fair few tattoos and he's had his ear pierced. So yeah, he can come across intimidating and with good reason. He surely isn't a momma's boy.
What Makes Them Them
Personality Description:
Ryan is certainly an odd character. To begin with let's just say the he's really negative and looks seriously upon everything. People have tried and failed to find a sense of humor in him. Although he certainly doesn't lack in confidence, he's really arrogant and rebellious so he doesn't want to conform to popular opinion. Whether it's clothing or mannerisms, he doesn't want to do what everyone else does.
I guess he could come across as anti-social. However beneath his exterior his brain is always working, like he's trying to figure out how people react to certain things. Anything that he could use to threaten or bribe someone with he'll pick up upon, just so that if he ever gets put into a bad spot he can work his way out of it through favors. People have called him a manipulative ass, and that's not far off the truth. His attitude does stink but if you get to know him properly he'll be the best friend you've ever had.
Some other positive traits he possesses is that he is a great fighter and tactician and surprisingly he's a great leader. Not a lot of people would expect him to be talented at that but his natural leadership is more so down to his discipline and how he'll never leave a companion of his behind. If someone is fighting for him, no matter who it is he'll want them to survive whatever thing they're fighting. If they've offered their loyalty to him (something which he values), then why shouldn't he repay them and treat them the way they deserve? Of course, he'll brush it off like it's no big deal so it doesn't come across like he's got feelings but he really does.
Then he has a fear of falling in love. I mean, it's not like it's unusual for a guy not to want to fall in love but he doesn't ever want to be emotionally attached to anyone. To him, it's like signing your name to a contract, if you don't read the small print then you're screwed. He never wants to be hurt and he never wants to let anyone get under his skin and get to know what he's truly like. All that gooey stuff isn't for him at all.

His grandmother died before he arrived at camp, which is a secret he has never told anybody. He has also kept the fact that he despises his father and death itself although he's embraced the fact that he's going to die. It's something he's willing to do, but he doesn't ever want to see someone close to him die, especially because of him, ever again.
Ambitions:
For one he wishes to become a hero in the future. And he also wants to hopefully be able to lead a group of people on a quest one day.
Powers: Ryan can sense if someone is an escaped soul and he can sprout wings although using them costs him a lot of energy.
Family and History
Personal History:
Susanne Williams had always been unstable. In her youth she hopped from nightclub to nightclub with a variety of male friends. She was called every name in the book; slut, slag and so on. Susie was a tough woman and she never let herself hang her head in shame. She lived with no regrets and as such she was involved in many relationships. Perhaps she was naive for thinking that every man that she was with would be with her forever but she couldn't care less.
Susanne married a man named Anthony Brown, a shareholder in one of New York's biggest nightclubs. It was a rocky relationship at best because he was unfaithful to her but he died in a car crash. Susanne found it hard to cope with his death and moved in with her mother, Agatha Williams. It was months later that she met with Thanatos although she knew him as Derek Johnson, a widower who traveled around the world a lot. They instantly clicked seeing as both of them understood what it was like to lose a lover. Susanne thought he was exotic and handsome and the result was Ryan. Thanatos knew that Susanne wouldn't be able to cope with the fact that the Greek gods were real so he said he said he was going to England to meet a friend but he never came back.
As such, when Ryan was born Susanne couldn't cope. To have lost two lovers and be left with a child was too much and so she packed her bags and ran away. Agatha was left to raise the child whom unbeknownst to her was destined to be a hero. Ryan was diagnosed with ADHD very early on in his life because his grandmother recognized that he was unlike her own child. He couldn't sit still without tapping something or fidgeting and he had such a bad temper. As he grew up he was expelled from several schools in his local area due to his bad attitude and general behavior.
Unlike other demi-god children though, Ryan did not have dyslexia. It meant that he could read English easily and as such he delved into many different books. It made him feel more content with his life knowing that it didn't suck as much as the heroes in the Greek mythology tales. He joined a couple of bands in his early teens as a drummer because his friends asked him to. One of which looked sixteen years old, had a beard and wore the same hat everyday. His name was Carter and he was one of the only kids who managed to get close to Ryan.
It wasn't long before Ryan started to notice the weird stuff that went on around him. He felt all the more uneasy that Carter seemed to be acting nervous when he pointed out some of those strange events. Inevitably one day when Ryan got back to his grandmother's house he found a massive dog attacking Agatha. It was muscular and had matted black fur and it was definitely not a normal dog. Ryan grabbed the nearest weapon, in this case a kitchen knife and lunged at it. Maybe it wasn't the smartest thing to do but the hound recoiled and whimpered in pain. However it hadn't killed it and now it's attention was on Ryan but then suddenly, out of the blue a hand grabbed onto Ryan's collar. He looked up and spotted Carter, who looked part man part goat.
Carter forcefully dragged Ryan out as the hound lunged at the two. Fortunately they managed to slam a door on the the thing's trap. Ryan pleaded with Carter for them to go back in there and save Agatha but the goat-man abruptly dragged him away from the scene. When Ryan arrived at Camp Half-Blood he met with Chiron. The old guy was a Centaur and he told Ryan everything about the camp and the gods. Chiron asked Ryan about what had happened and he painfully told him about everything. Towards the end of his story though, Ryan felt his head go numb and his ears started ringing. For some reason he knew that his grandmother was dead and he cried. It was probably the only time anyone at camp had saw him break down.
Afterwards Thanatos claimed him and then Ryan started to train. He was still furious with his father for hurting his mother and scaring her away.
