Made to Fly (Chalivia)

Olivia felt as if she hadn't seen Chase in forever. They were always busy doing their own thing. They never really had time to do coupley things that often. That's why Olivia felt the need to make a bit of a move. She asked him if he would have lunch with her in the city, and she had picked the perfect little cafe. It was called Shay's Cafe. And even though Liv had only been there a few times, it was pretty good every time she went there. She could just picture them sitting out there, next to each other and talking, right outside the cafe at the table for two with the black umbrella about them, making sure that their skin didn't burn off because of the sun. What could she say? Honestly, a girl had dreams every once in awhile.

Of course, Olivia was originially planning on wearing shorts, a tank top and her black Chucks to the date, but her friends had said otherwise. Apparantly, on a date like this you needed something casual but still nice-looking. So Liv was wearing a highwaisted purple skirt with a short, blue floral tank top with a bit of her stomach peeking out when she walked in certain ways and sandals. It was all topped off with some somewhat-decently-applied black eyeliner and some shiny lip gloss. Beauty was getting to be annoying. She grapped a small wristlet packed with makeup, money and other random things that had been tossed in there over the few years that Liv had owned it and never been thrown out. She was ready to go. She got in her car and away from camp she went.

Shay's Cafe was a small little cafe in New York City that no one ever seemed to notice. It was very stereotypical cafe. Sandwhiches, salads and soups with iced tea and a few selections of smoothies. So maybe the selection wasn't very large, but the quality was excellent. Olivia had always pictured herself there on a lunch date. It was such a great place for it. She couldn't have been for excited to catch up with Chase.

Chase was happy to get out of camp. Sure, it seemed as if he had just been out with that trip to Vegas, but he liked getting out and just getting away from the camps turmoil. He couldn't help the sickness, no matter what his cabin thought of, it just didn't work. It seemed the sickness was out of hands for the sons and daughters of a logic goddess. And even the Apollo kids couldn't really help. Not entirely at least. He looked at himself one more time in the mirror before heading out. He swung his car keys on his finger as he walked to where he was parked.

So getting out of camp wasn't the only reason he had a bounce to his step. He was getting to spend this time with his girl. Olivia had actually asked him on a date instead of he asking her out on one. Didn't matter though, he would still pay for it if he could. She had told him the little cafe that they would meet at and he had agreed. He had driven past there a few times so he knew where it was. He had never stopped by though, so it would be his first time there. He slid in his car and started to drive there.

After awhile, he pulled into a parking spot and made his way to the cafe. He glanced around and noticed that Olivia hadn't arrived yet. No biggie. He picked out a table in which he would be able to see her from any direction she came. It was shaded with a black umbrella. Totally not because that is what she wanted and Summer said why the hell not. But because Chase is smart. He decided to wait until she got there to order, so that they could enjoy their meals together.

A few minutes passed and he saw her approaching. He smiled warmly at her and couldn't help but notice what she was wearing. He loved how she dressed up all nice, but sometimes he did wish that she would just come in what she wanted to wear instead of what those Aphrodite girls told her too. He liked how he first met her. In clothes that were her. But Zeus forbid he actually say something about it. He stood up and pulled out her chair, but not before wrapping his arms around her for a quick hug and kiss. "Hey there gorgeous."

Then he pulled out her chair and waited for her to sit before pushing it in and sitting down in his own chair.
