All-in-all he is a good-looking guy with sharp features, and is in great shape
What Makes Them Them
Personality Description:[/s] gone so far as to kill someone, but he does like going in the forest at night when all the monsters run about to have a nice little killing spree. If you ever come across him be warned. He is VERY sarcastic. Almost every word he says is dropped with venom and hate. But of course, he does hate that fact that every morning he has to give the body back. He is very snarky, and quite devious in his actions.
Romeo is a really nice guy. He is charming. He listens to people when they need to vent, but doesn't vent himself. He doesn't want to be a burden on anyone. He loves to help people and will help in whatever way possible. This was how he got sick. He worked too much in the infirmary around the sick kids. He really is just a really kind guy. He puts other people's needs before his own and so on and so forth. He doesn't ever get angry, as he sees that there is really no need. He believes that things can be talked out. And if not that, then they can be figured out some way apart from violence and aggression.
He does know that it does have a time and a place though. He excels with sword fighting. He knows there may be a day in which he will need to fight another in order to survive. Because let's face it, even though he is all for helping people, he doesn't want to die. In fact, he would very much like to stay alive. This brings us to another of his traits, fear. He is fearful if the unknown and of Mark. He is actually extremely terrified of Mark though he tries not to show it. But of course, he does have little hyperventilation times when he thinks that Mark will take over.
At 8 p.m. every night, and until 8 a.m. every morning Mark comes out to play. He is the extreme opposite of Romeo. He is extremely violent and just loves to hack the heads off the training dummies. He hasn't, yet,
You see, Romeo and Mark are the same person. Or really, two people sharing the same body. Romeo has major split personality disorder. To the fact where he has almost tried to kill himself so that Mark couldn't be alive anymore. Mark wants to take over their body. He doesn't want Romeo in the picture anymore. He wants free reign. While Romeo wants Mark to leave. Yes, they both want each other to leave. But Romeo fears that if Mark takes control that no one will be safe.

Family and History
Personal History:
Robert Valencourt was like a drug to Eris. He was a master of emotion. He would never just burst out in anger, sadness, happiness, etc. This is what drew her to him. They dated off and on for a couple years. She wouldn't stay at his house more than a day though. She didn't want to fall in love. In fact she feared that. This is what led to her actually falling in love. She had thought she would be able to control it, but she wasn't able to as well as she could.
That fateful weekend they made love. It was their first time and Lo and behold, none months later little Romeo was born. Eris told Robert who she really was, that she had to leave him, that Romeo needed to go to Camp Half-Blood later in life. At first Robert had denied Romeo, blaming him for Eris leaving. But he soon fell back into love with his son. He saw little traits of Eris in him and Robert was glad that he had something to remind him of her.
When Romeo was around five, Robert started to date again. He believed that a girl in the house would help Romeo grow up. The only thing though, is that he kept comparing the girls to Eris. None of them seemed good enough. Eris had been beautiful, smart, unique. Sure these girls were great but they weren't here. During Romeo's sixth birthday dinner, the waitress serving then kept passing glances at Robert.
She did the little waitress thing and slipped her number into the check along with her name, Cynthia. That night Robert called her. He had seen her as well. Though she didn't stand out and seem flashy like the other girls he had dated, she was quiet and subdued. Romeo adored her. That seemed to set the deal for Robert and after a few months dating he proposed to her. By the time Romeo was seven, Cynthia was his step-mom.
Cynthia got Romeo into painting. It was a past time that she loved. She taught Romeo everything he knows about it. She was quite impressed with his fast he picked it up. Not wanting his son to just be a painter, Robert got him involved in sports. Romeo took a quick liking to ice hockey. Happy with the sport, his dad let him continue playing. It was easy for them since they lived near an ice rink and a lake that would freeze over in the winter.
A couple months after he had turned eleven, his brother Jackson was born. He was ecstatic to have a little brother. The two got along like perfect little angels. It was as if they both came from the same mom. They didn't or course, but that's how close they were. Months passed quickly. With Romeo going to school, being a good student, playing ice hockey, painting, and playing with his younger brother. His dad didn't tell him of his history, he thought that maybe if he didn't tell anyone that it wouldn't have to happen, that it would just work itself out. But that was not to be.
On his 13th birthday, he had a party. His friends from school came. So did a couple monsters. When they started attacking, he freaked out. His emotions started panicking. The overwhelming sense of panic caused things to start bursting and exploding around him. His parents managed to get the kids away, Cynthia having no idea what was happening while Robert did. It was only thanks to one of his friends being a satyr that the monsters were destroyed. He then went on to explain to Robert about the camp and Robert had already known so he stopped him.
He said that as long as Romeo could come home for holidays he could go. The satyr said it was only a summer camp so he could actually come home during he other seasons. Robert nodded and took Cynthia and Jackson inside to explain what he had been hoping e wouldn't have to explain ever. Romeo left with the satyr to camp. He didn't get claimed right away. In fact, he didn't get claimed until he was 14.
He was in the arena. He had been painting an painting for the past month. It kept changing since he was trying to capture the people practicing in the arena. Just as he finished up the last stroke, he could feel his happiness surging up through his body. He couldn't believe he had finished! He let out a whoop of excitement. He ran to go and get one of his friends and when he came back, he started pointing at the painting and talking really fast. He was just so excited! This of course was bad. He looked away from it for a minute and when he looked back, it exploded.
He froze in mid-sentence and his friends jaw dropped. Not from the painting though. Above Romeo's head was the hand of Eris. The young boy had been claimed. His friend pointed and Romeo looked up. Seeing the sign, he could feel his excitement bubbling again and this time the water bottle his friend was holding burst. Romeo's eyes widened and he ran for Chiron, all the while trying to calm his rapidly beating heart.
He was moved into the Minor kids cabin that night. But his excitement wouldn't last. Sure he had a good year in there. Until the sickness started. He was one of the first few to get sick. Boy, it hit him hard to. He was knocked out for a couple days. He even had to spend his 15th birthday in the infirmary. He hated being coped up. He could pretend to play ice hockey on the dirt. He had brought his lucky stick and a puck. But now he was bedridden.
It was a miracle when on his 16th birthday, all symptoms disappeared. He was fine! Perfectly and completely healthy! He ran out of the infirmary and automatically went to go play hockey. He had been keeping a journal on a laptop. A daily log of sorts. Mainly just saying his symptoms and whether they had improved or not. He went over to it and made a new and last one saying that he was perfectly fine and everything was gone. His dad would probably be really interested in it since he hasn't seen him since before he had got sick.
He went to bed that night at 7 o'clock. Thanks to the sickness, he had gotten used to going to sleep early. The next morning he woke up at 8:30. He went on his computer to play some music and a game of solitaire. Only he stopped when he went to click on recent items. He had made two knew journal entries. One at 8:15 p.m. and another at midnight. That was weird. He didn't remember ever waking up. Curious, he clicked on the 8:15 one. The entry shocked him to the core.
There staring back at the screen was himself. Only, he was different. He wore a smirk, and had changed from pjs to black jeans and a long button up. The two items he hasn't worn in forever. His other self had started speaking. "This will be the second time I have awoken. The first was the night before you got out of the infirmary. Only then I wasn't sure if I was coming back. Now I know I will. Allow me to introduce myself. I am you. Although, a better version of you. With a better name. Who wants to be named after someone who dies for love? Who wants to have the same name of their parent and step-parent." His other self had sneered the last word. Only Romeo couldn't believe this was happening. He had rubbed at his eyes but his other self continued talking.
"My name is Mark Williams. It seems like a powerful enough name. And better much better. You see, I'm in control." His other self smirked and gave a humorless laugh. "Or at least between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. But that will change. I will take control. And mark my words, you will never come back when I do." The video stopped. Romeo had felt the dread seeping through his bones. This just wasn't good. It wasn't good at all. He swallowed what little he had in his mouth and looked around. Luckily the cabin had been empty.
He then clicked on the next entry. Already he was fearing it. His other self popped up. This time he was outside and his hair was messed up. Along with specks of dirt and what looked like blood on himself. "You have probably noticed my appearance. Don't worry. I haven't killed anyone. Though that has yet to be fully decided. I only took a stroll through the forest full of monsters to have some fun. But it seems like I had a little too much." He had turned the laptop to show the edge of the forest. Only it was in splinters. A couple trees had split at the middle. He heard Mark start speaking again. "I'm sure you can clear it up." Without seeing Mark again, he heard a laugh as the video stopped.
Romeo's head had dropped. He had ran out of the cabin to the spot and saw the destruction. There were a couple nymphs crying over their trees and a couple people standing around. Romeo stumbled back and had run straight to Mr. D. He told Mr. D that something was wrong with himself. That he had a weird feeling and thought he was going crazy. Mr. D did his usual thing and sent him off telling him to just get a good nights sleep and it should be taken care of.
The next morning he woke up and checked his computer. Seeing another log at 7:30 a.m. he clicked on it. Mark was looking at him with narrowed eyes. "You tried to get rid of me. That's not very nice. But don't worry. Sure you have split personality disorder. But this is instead of being sick. Why do you think that night all symptoms cleared up? It's because I came into the picture. This is all because of that sickness. It won't be that easy to get rid of me."
Romeo fainted. He seriously had fallen over on his bed and passed out. When he awoke, he made a log. Knowing that Mark would look at it. "Don't you dare hurt anyone anymore. Not even those nymphs. I swear I will get rid of you no matter what I have to do. You will not win this. Just leave everyone alone." He went about his day, trying to keep away from people. He stayed up thinking that maybe if he didn't fall asleep Mark wouldn't come out, only at 7:59 p.m. he could feel himself sleeping.
At 8, Mark blinked a couple times before turning to the computer. He watched the pathetic entry. He had laughed a humorless laugh and had walked out into the night.
This went on for a year and still goes on. No matter what he does, Romeo always falls asleep or somehow a switch is clicked and he ceases to exist between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. He doesn't know what to do. He won't go home anymore. He doesn't want Mark hurting his family. It's also why he hasn't left camp. He prefers solitude now and tries to avoid people for fear of getting to close to someone and Mark hurting them.
