RP Sample:Suri took one last look at the stars. Ever since the fight against the drachne, it felt like all she could or wanted to do was sit extremely still or sleep. Occasionally, she was found sleep walking, around the crow's nest, but she didn't think anything of that. Perhaps it was just normal after being on the ship for so long. The hammock gently rocked from side to side, following the ever so gentle rocking of the waves. That was perhaps the one thing she liked about sleeping in her hammock, above deck. She was able to feel the rocking, smell the sea spray, and hear the gentle crashing of the waves against the faded wooden hull. She liked it.
While she drifted off to sleep, brilliant colors and patterns filled her vision. She knew that this is what happened everytime she went to sleep, but she couldn't help and think that perhaps, this time, it was different. Suddenly, the colors started to change, flashing golds and silvers. That was most defiantly different. The colors started to fade into a sunset, then stars. Suri felt as if she was flying down somewhere, like she was given a panaorama view of the entire dream world her mind invented for her. It was nice, and peaceful. She hadn't seen or heard from anyone at camp in what seemed like ages, and she assumed that her subconcious mind was missing camp, as she, in her dream, found herself at the Ares' cabin. It looked the same, and since it was night, it actually seemed peaceful for once. She looked to see what she was wearing, and it seemed like exactly what she was wearing during her fight with the drachne. Same CHB shirt, with the arms and sides cut off, same running shorts, same shoes. She even had her sword at her side, hanging like it always had. Suri allowed her mind to decide where she would go in the dream, for she feared lucid dreaming, even though it was supposedly "natural."
Suri found herself walking along the trail, the one that lead to the arena. However, as she continued to walk, she felt the sudden urge to go off the trail, to see where her feet would take her. And she did exactly that. Crashing through the brush, running as fast as she could, she seemingly didn't trip or fall or get hit by any branches, which was odd, even for a dream. SUddenly, she found herself in the middle of the forest, where Fabian, Chara, and a new kid, one who she didn't remember, stood. "What are you doing in my dream?" Suri almost sneered, thinking about why she would dream about someone she didn't even know. Perhaps she had seen his face before, but she doubted it. She hadn't seen anyone from camp in ages, and new, or perhaps old, arrivals didn't seem to ring a bell.
As Suri scanned the area, she saw Fabian sneering at someone. He wasn't just sneering at someone, he was sneering at some woman. Some tall, really pretty lady. And he called her a goddess. Suri looked at her, headtilted, confused. If this was a goddess, how come she didn't recognize what goddess this was? Suri's mind was confused, so she walked over to her.
The closer Suri walked to the goddess, the more she felt power and beauty radiating off of her. She didn't know why she didn't know this woman, or at least her name, but she knew she felt horrid because of it. She couldn't understand why or how Fabian and Chara could just stand there, but she knew that she had to investigate. Suri stopped several feet short from where the goddess stood and just sat there, watching her. She tried to ask her who she was and why she was here, but the only voice she had was simple, and meek. Most unlike Suri did she sound. But she had to know, so she asked anyway. "Who are you? And why are you here? Why did you bring us?" Suri stood, intrigued and confused at the same time, with a look of wonder in her eyes, trying to decipher this strange, yet beautiful dream.

`` specifics
Personality Description: Lis is an introverted individual. On the surface, when she barely meets an individual, she rarely speaks, limiting herself to a quiet hello, staying polite. Because if this, most people will rarely approach her for a longer in depth conversation. Despite this, Lis enjoys deep thought, most often about how's and whys and what ifs in medicine. But most of all, Lis enjoys thinking about nature, and staying out in the woods, just listening to the wind in the trees.
Once someone gets to know her better, she doesn't do a 360, no. She's still pretty quiet, but can have somewhat longer conversations with her friends. She enjoys listening to what others have to say, and giving me advice, if she can. One of her major pet peeves is when people assume that just because she is quiet, she is slow to learn things. On the contrary, she picks up several things, such as medicine, quite fast, thanks to her father. Lisel may be a quiet individual, but once one gets to know her, they realize that there is some sustenance to her character ( even if her creator hasn't figured out all the details yet.)
Powers: like all children of Apollo, Lis has some skill with medicine. Although she is still learning, she can fix most minor cuts, scrapes and bruises, and occasional, like, by rarely, is she able to fix semi major ones. She is also quite gifted with a bow and arrow, although she doesn't rank up with fictional characters like Merida and Legolas.
`` history & family
Personal History: Lisel's mother, Ellen, grew up in the outback of Australia most of her life. At the age of eleven, a raging brush fire caught her father, a cattle driver, out on the range, and almost cost him his life from severe burns, if it wasn't for the doctors in the nearest town. From that moment onward, when Ellen observed the quite, skilled patience of those men, who worked tirelessly to save her father, she vowed that she would devote her life to caring for others. And that she did. She attended the university in Sydney, eventually earning her doctors license. Although Ellen loved the city, she remembered those out in smaller towns, who often had to travel several hundred miles, just for basic care. So, without thinking twice, Ellen moved back to the bush, where she set up a practice near an aboriginal settlement. While curing the children, making sure they were properly vaccinated and were in good health, Ellen caught the eye of a fellow co worker, one who was working for Doctors Without Borders. He was indeed Apollo, but he, of course, being a god, decided that he was too mighty to let this mortal woman know. While he kept his true identity a secret, he took no pains in hiding his affection for Ellen, vanished returned the favor. She knew he was scheduled to leave soon, and although she knew that sleeping with him probably wasn't the best idea, she did anyways. Nine months after Apollo left, Ellen gave birth to a happy, healthy baby girl, which she named Lisel.
Unlike most demigod's tragic and awful lives, Lisel's was a happy one. She grew up on the settlement with other aboriginal children her age, not caring if she was different than them. Years passed, and Lis grew and grew. Her mother made it no secret that she was a fatherless child, and Lis couldn't have cared less. By the time she was fourteen, her mother had sent her to the nearest high school, so her quiet child could obtain the best education possible for her placement test. While there, a saytr discovered her, had a nice conversation with her and her more, and it was decided that Lis would be sent to Camp half blood, in America. Ellen knew that if she was there, there would be a greater chance of her attending college and living a better life. Lis was happy to see a new part of the world, and left her mother, with many tears, thanking her for the good life.
While at camp, she was sheperded into Hermes' cabin, and immediately was reminded of living in the settlement. There she stayed for several years, until the ages of sixteen and a half. During those years, several speculations were made to as who her godly parent was, especially since she was a skilled archer for only a few years of practice. Finally, one day, while working in the infirmary, Lis just felt right. It was there that Apollo claimed her, by showing his godly icon above her head. Adjusting to life as apollo's daughter wasn't that tough, she just continued being quiet, staying in nature, and volunteering in the infirmary, hoping her more experienced siblings would teach her more and more medical skills. As she approaches the age of eighteen, she is unsure whether to stay at camp, or venture out into the real world.
