Pegasi: Like Glitter and Ponies, But More Sinister

''Are you okay!? What should we do?''

Maddie heard the words, but they didn't register in her brain until a few seconds after. She felt like she was hit with a bus. A feathery one covered in berry juice (which was not the strangest thing in the world. In Texas, there was a bus that went around with wings painted on it and it's tires are bright red).

The strong-willed girl struglled to lift herself off of the hard ground, her chest feeling as if it had been trampled. Fully upright, Maddie went into a coughing fit and used her hands to cover her mouth. After she was done coughing, she pulled her hands away and saw that they where sprayed with blood.

''Move very, very slowly. And when I say go, you run for the big house and don't look back.'' She said, not exactly sure why. She kept her eyes on Star, who was now happily chasing her tail. Good. Out of the corner of her eye, someone fainted.

Swearing under her breath, Maddie got up slowly. ''Both of you, go get her -- very slowly -- and still wait for my command to run.'' Said Maddie, still not sure of her plan. She figured she would wing it, and if it got these kids out safe, then it would be a mission sucess, even if she died in the process.

Jamming the ambrosia from the plastic bag (if your about to say ''THAT'S BAD FOR THE ENVORNMENT!'', then shut up) her pocket (she always kept some with her incase of injury)She got up, and spread her arms out wide, making herself the biggest target, and watched as the kids in the corner of her vision got the girl -- Mia -- off the ground.

''RUN!'' Maddie screeched. The pegasi stopped and stared at the running kids for a second, then started leaping after them. And maybe Maddie Jean was hallucinating from hitting the ground so hard, or dizzy from blood loss, but she started moving her arms up and down like bird wings.

''CA-CAW! CA-CAW! CA-CAW!'' She screeched. And Star looked at her and ran straight for her. Maddie had just enough time to think Wow, I am a dumbass, before the pegasi's face caught her in the stomach, and Maddie went fllying back, still on the flying horses face.

Of all the ways she could ride a horse, face-riding was completely new.

By this time, conculars where coming from all angles to help, and campers where running around like maniacs, trying to get a glimpse of what was going on. All Maddie could remember was the pegasi coming to a screeching halt, and Maddie falling off. She didn't even remember hitting the ground before everything went black.
