How should I title my threads and tag people?*
Threads should be titled as follows: "Thread Title [Location, O for open or I for invite only]". Example: "The Kids from Yesterday [Artemis, O]". If you need to tag specific characters, please do so in your post NOT the thread title.
Can I set my thread at a location other than one of the booths?*
Depends. If you want to set it in the area in between the cabins, no. We already have one big open thread set there (find it HERE). If you want to set it somewhere else (such as the Mess Hall), yes. Just make sure you title it appropriately.
Can I post my thread in one of the other boards?*
No. All carnival threads should be posted in this board, NOT the normal RP boards.
Is there a word count?*
Nope! Just refrain from posting one-liners.
How long does this event last?
It lasts one full day IC (the Friday before the summer campers leave), ending with fireworks at night. OOC, we'll leave the board open for a month. After that, you'll be able to finish your threads, but you will not be able to start new ones.
Can I use Mr. D or Chiron?
Only admins will play as Mr. D or Chiron in "Impending Disaster?". For other threads, just ask permission from an admin before NPCing them.
If I want to change locations in the thread, what should I do?
You should end the thread and start a new one. If you absolutely must switch locations in the thread, edit the title of your thread so that the appropriate location is listed.
Do I have to post in "Impending Disaster?"
No, but it's a great way to get your characters to meet other people.
Will finished threads be archived?
No. We're keeping all carnival threads in this board. Also, if you finish a thread, please note that somewhere in the last post so that people don't accidentally join.
