RP Sample:It was strange, being so close to others. Her mother always kept her secluded. Hidden away from the natural world, it was no surprise that she seemed dark and strange. Vasi didn't know how to hold herself with so many other kids running around. They laughed, something that was foreign to her.
But, Vasi kept a straight stance. One thing she did get from her mother was the stubborn, fiery look she had. Never did she back down from a challenge. Yet, this challenge was entirely new. Different to an extreme. It wasn't that she was scared of others, nor was she shy. However, it was the fact that her awkwardness gave her an out-of-place title. Vasi considered often how people her age acted, though as mentioned, her little to no human contact made her unsure of what to do.

Personality Description: It's easy to say she's a spitfire. Being a child of Ares, that kinda comes with the territory. But of course its more than just the fact she has a violent parent. Vasi is a naturally defiant and strongly opinionated teenager. She looks at the world with a harsh view, taking everything negatively. To her, the world has a glass that is half empty, rather than half full. Vasi grew up alone, with just her mother. From this comes a sense of humbleness, despite her fiery attitude. Unaware of how to act around others, she can seem very awkward in social settings. Her determination makes it easy for her to adapt in such situations though.
Even with being a child of Ares, she isn't one to go looking for a fight automatically. Out of all of the Ares kids, she is the most laid back by a lot. Vasi is very intelligent as well, making her seem a little more agreeable than the others. Although she isn't a strategy genius like the Athena children, she has a sense of when to and when not to do something. She defeats the stereotypical Ares type kids. Every time another demigod has encountered her, they don't believe who her parent is just based on how she acts. Passion is what fuels a lot of her fire. Vasi cares a lot about certain things, and when they are threatened, she goes into a panic fury. This fury can either cause her to outburst in anger and profanities, or tears of relentless pain.

Personal History: It all started out at the beginning of fall. The season was preparing for the winter, most things dying and sheltering. But one living thing came to her full existence after nine months of waiting in darkness. On October 9th of 1998 a baby girl was born to Roza Kodik, a Russian singer who moved to America to expand on her career in music. Roza was like a princess of her own realm. She held herself strong and full of confidence. And finally upon making a name for herself, Roza became somewhat of a rock star. Of course, those were her younger years, before her baby girl was born. Roza had many men swoon over her, in the large town of Las Vegas that she called home. But only one man was able to win her over. Ares, the god of war. Now, I know what you're thinking. Roza became so in love with him that she dropped everything she did and tried to keep him for her own. Wrong! Roza liked her independence, which inevitably won Ares over in the first place. But they would hook up only on nights where Roza felt the need. Otherwise, she really didn't need him in her life. When Roza became pregnant, it was a slap in the face to her. Her band... her music... her lifestyle... it all had to change. Though, Roza knew it was a nine month period that would go by quickly. And she wasn't the type to give up.
So now enters a little baby girl. Roza knew her daughter was special, despite not knowing just how much. Vasilisa was the name given to the baby girl. She was a handful for the mother, but loving all the same. Vasilisa grew up with a lot of attention. Due to Roza being somewhat of a big hit in Vegas, visitors came and went through their house all the time. Vasilisa never had a dull moment. However, around the age of 3, Vasi had an unexpected man appear at her house. After being told to stay away from him, Roza went and spoke with the man. Vasi didn't take much mind to it. After all, she was to young to let someone distract her from her playtime. When her mother came back, she was all smiles at her daughter, more than the usual.
When it came time from Vasi to start school, her mother decided to have her do a strange homeschooling and online school mix. Vasi didn't understand why she couldn't go to school like the rest of the kids her age, but happily accepted her mother's wishes. Around this time, Roza had decided to start a new relationship with a new man. His name was Tate and he was a successful business man. Between Roza's money from the shows she performed, and Tate's income from his law business, Vasi lived a comfortable life. When Roza's mother became pregnant, Vasi was around the age of 8. But something didn't go right with the pregnancy, and the baby died before birth.
When Vasi turned 13, Roza and Tate tried for the second time to have a child. During this time period, Vasi gained more freedom. She went out of the house more often. Walking through her neighborhood, she came across the park that wasn't far off. Vasi went and enjoyed the swings, taking her time to gain new heights. But something eventually caught her eyes. A man sat on a bench. That man... where did she know him from? As she cautiously made her way over to him, he disappeared. Leaving behind a token of a small keychain, Vasi picked it up instantly. The keychain had a simple tiny sword and shield. It was nothing special, but Vasi didn't exactly understand what it meant. It was then that her first incident with monster happened. She ran and ran and ran to home. She couldn't believe what was happening. After making it inside, she cried and screamed, her rage driving her emotions every direction. When her mother was finally tuned into what happened, despite the fact Vasi had no idea what came after her and her fear blocked much of the memory, she made sure that something was done.
A little after Vasi's 14th birthday, she was taken to New York. A lengthy trip gave Roza enough time to explain to Vasi what exactly was going on. Roza told her the tale of Ares and who he was. When that 'myth' was finished, she told Vasi that the so called stories are true of the Greek gods and goddesses. Roza detailed how she met Ares, explaining how Vasi never met her true father. The place she was going was a safe place. A place where Vasi could unlock her true abilities.
Roza got her to Camp Half Blood a few weeks before her birthday. Roza had to return to her new child, Correy, and Tate as soon as possible. She explained to Vasi that this would be her new home, that Vegas was no longer a place for her. Vasi wouldn't come home until she was grown. Roza left her daughter, which much reluctance. Her tough love is what made her retreat. See, Vasi felt abandonment, but Roza knew this was what would keep Vasi safe. And so she came to stay at Camp Half Blood year round. She trained, kept to herself, and played guitar to pass time. What she learns from here... is a mystery to us.
