Why should we fight the feeling
Let's just live in the moment
David hadn't had a relaxing day in a long time. One where he just hung out at the beach and relaxed on the shore. But of course, when he got to the beach, it was crowded as hell. Figures. The one day that camp seems nice everyone decides to go. Wanting, for the first time in a long while, some peace and quiet. He left the beach and walked over to Canoe Lake. He could still lay out here and the only people were some campers out in the middle of the lake rowing their canoes and laughing. Much better than the kids running back and forth and getting sand all over you.
He smirked at this, but had a weird feeling in his stomach. He couldn't help feel that something was off today. Then again, this was a time when he wanted to be AWAY from people. That was super rare. He looked around for a moment before laying out the blanket he had brought for the beach. He didn't need it as much here, but still sand could bug bare skin. With that, he took off his shirt, not caring if anyone saw and let himself fall back onto the blanket. His hands fell behind his head as he lay out on his back enjoying the sun.
His eyes closed behind his Ray-Bans as he settled in with a little sigh. Just relaxing was nice. He let the worry about sick people slip his mind for a while as he sat there. He drifted in that half unconsciousness while lying there. He couldn't help smiling to himself though, thanking his mom for how little it took for him to get ready. All he had to do was really think of the hairstyle he wanted. After a couple minutes of messing with it, it would end up perfect and stay perfect. No matter what happened. Well, that was a lie.
If there was a strong enough win, or it got wet it would change. But, not that much since he didn't let it get that long in the first place. But his sister spent HOURS in the bathroom. He didn't know if every girl did that, some seemed like it, but others seemed like they just rolled out of bed. Like that Summer chick. She was sort of cute, but David was sort of scared to go after her since her brother was a Big Three. Sure Mitch wouldn't hurt him, but Mitch probably wouldn't even let Summer near David. Plus, Summer wouldn't come near him anyways. That wasn't her. He opened his eyes and rolled over to lean on one arm as he looked at canoe lake thinking of the different girls in camp and wondering if he would ever really DATE one.
His eyes scanned the shore line, just skimming over the water. Nothing was unnatural or different. It was just the calm relaxing soft laps of the waves against the shore. He sighed in contentment, but was starting to get slightly bored. It was too quiet and now he was slipping back into himself. The guy who liked to be around crowds. What had he been thinking? The beach was way more exciting than this. Especially if he was alone here. But wait. He wasn’t. Had started to get up when he saw a girl coming towards him. Well, she could’ve been coming towards him or the canoe lake, but he was going to catch her before she got too far if she wasn’t coming to him. A flirty smile fell upon his lips, and he licked the bottom one for a second once again remembering what he was wearing and if it was good enough to be in front of this girl. This girl named…Chloë Black. Frank Black’s younger sister.
Still, it didn’t matter. As what he was wearing was fine. He wouldn’t have gone out of the cabin if it wasn’t. He set a smile on his face as he stay lying on his blanket waiting for her to get closer.
