Chara stared down at the body lying before her. It was that of a man twice her size and weight, and clearly one who thought he could take advantage of the petite, poor, "young" and beautiful servant of the queen, who was elsewhere and distracted by the matters of getting the king back into shape. That, and taking care of her newly born son - which the other servants did help out with, of course. But here Chara stood. Before trying his luck, the man said he knew there was something wrong with the girl. For years, she had been working for the royal court. Yet... the girl had not seemed to age a day. There was something peculiar with that... but instead of openly stating the servant as a witch and having her sentenced to death, the man forced himself upon her. Only to be met with her blade to his throat, and purging all chances of continuing life.
Quickly, Chara thought. She could not be accused of the murder of such a nobleman. Without hesitation, Chara moved and arranged the body to appear as though he had committed suicide and left abruptly to join the other servants who would come to back her up should the servants be questioned for their location. The other servants quietly greeted her, and allowed her to join in on their activities. And whilst she did so, she continued to listen to them. As though she had never been elsewhere. It wouldn't take them long to forget exactly how long Chara had been with them, and so her alibi was fixed. The other servants were used to it, too. They often thought of Chara as a quiet girl, and believed her name to be "Jane". Nevertheless, it was a reason why the queen seemed to trust Chara... being so quiet, she was willing to listen. And, unlikely to tell another soul. Besides, who would she tell apart from Artemis?
Eventually, Chara's eyes opened after having been broken away from the dream she was previously having. She rubbed her eyes and looked around the cabin. Was everyone still asleep? Well, it didn't matter anyway. All Chara needed right now was a long walk. Perhaps somewhere she could feel a little more at peace. The strawberry fields, perhaps. Rather than whilst sharing a cabin with a bunch of pranksters, the strawberry fields seemed like a better place to think. Because Chara couldn't seem to tell anyone anything, she had to think over things herself. No one could know exactly what she was thinking... otherwise she would blow her cover. Although, now was a time of peace. Somewhat. So why did she remain in hiding? In case the chance of war should come, Chara could not openly show her allegiance to Artemis. Not even the huntresses knew of her loyalties. Only Artemis. Right now, she was an unclaimed camper. That was it. A camper of no importance and in need of no attention.
Pulling herself out of bed, Chara slipped out of her nightwear and into her camp clothes and moved out of the cabin, heading towards the strawberry fields in the hopes of some peace and quiet and some time to think. If someone was to join her, it shouldn't matter too much. She would just have to postpone her thinking time to a later point.
Eventually, Chara found herself in the strawberry fields. It was a beautiful sight. Perhaps why she loved it so much. After finding a clearer spot, she sat herself down and smiled as she began to drift into her thoughts abouts every person, place and situation. It would help in case there was anything of importance that she should forward to Artemis as soon as she could.
muse: idek. xD Chara is fortunate to have quite a lot. It's the posting muse that's just aksdaglkdsag.
notes: Sorry for how much it sucks. D: It starts off in the Hermes/unclaimed cabin but ends up in the strawberry fields, I guess. So, yeah. How's that? o;
