Dressing Style:
Aside from the camp attire, Masao will wear formal clothing. You'll rarely find him in anything other than a shirt and tie or a suit. He's proud of what he wears and he feels as if he looks high standard in good clothes then he'll live in a high standard. Although, he has no qualms with wearing the camp attire - it allows him to blend in with other teenagers. It's always good to blend in.
General Appearance:
He's average height and has an athletic build. Masao is strong but he's not strong in the sense of bulk, but in the sense of how agile and forceful he can be with his movements. This is why many consider him an underdog, because in camp attire he isn't so intimidating until he unleashes some of his moves on you. Then you're toast. He's got prominent cheekbones, and he looks well groomed for the most part. He has a couple of scars on his body from botched assassination attempts or from trying to escape from someone but they aren't very visible.

Family and History
Personal History:
Yatuka was always a manipulative snake. He was feared throughout Toyokawa as a man who would do whatever it takes to make money. He employed henchmen to help him become Mayor, which would give him more reach over the different businesses throughout the city. It was fair to say that Yatuka had a considerable piece of the pie; he was making thousands of yen per month. He kept his brother Minoru around as an adviser and bodyguard seeing as he was well trained in ninjutsu - as tradition for the Kobayashi family, the eldest son would train in the art. The tradition dated back centuries before Minoru.
Yatuka happened to meet a woman on his rounds. He found it hard to determine her age... she was not young but she was not old. She was mature. Something about her made the snake curious and so he approached her. She was cutting thread. Why was that? The male initiated the conversation and she seemed a little surprised that he had chosen to spoke to her. They spoke about various things. Their beliefs about life and death in particular. Atropos could not help but be impressed by Yatuka's lack of fear of death. He was... interesting. They eventually slept together and she was not there in the morning. He became worse as the woman who he'd fallen in love for on first sight had left him. He became angrier and more demanding.
Nine months later and a woman knocked on the door of Yatuka's mansion. She delivered baby Masao and explained that she would return once the time was right, but for now he must raise the child as it was his. Yatuka took the child in and let Minoru raise him, for he was busy with his job. It was clear that Yatuka cared little for the child just as he cared little for the others who had supported him for so long. Minoru cared for the boy and schooled him at home. He taught him to speak English as well as Japanese. Masao struggled with reading and writing at first because of his Dyslexia but Minoru supported him with it and made sure he tried.
Once he got into his early teenage years he began to learn ninjutsu as the eldest was supposed to. He learned to be precise with his movements and excelled in Taijutsu. He developed the different skills involved in ninjutsu as he grew older and it didn't take long for his father to see potential for money. With the skills Masao had he could easily become an assassin. Assassins made a lot of money, especially if Yatuka could keep him on a leash, being his father and all. Masao had to respect his father's decisions. And so he took up the profession, using his father's contacts to find rich people who wanted blood.
This caused Minoru and Yatuka to argue. Minoru believed it was wrong for Masao to use his skills in such a way, and so he stopped doing as he was told. Yatuka was infuriated that someone would dare stand up to him and so he shot Minoru several times as he slept. The snake killed his own brother in cold blood. Masao discovered his uncle's death and it was then that he realized how twisted his father was, and how wrong it was of him to kill the people he had killed. He had to make up for his actions, he had to cleanse his soul... and it was then that he promised himself that his skills would from then on be used to help destroy corruption. One man could make a difference.
He attempted to kill his father. Masao cut through his guards with his Katana and stood face to face with him. Masao tried to cut him down but he stumbled, and Yatuka slashed his chest with his Wakizashi before fleeing. Masao lay on the floor, covered in blood as the woman who had brought him to his father approached. She touched his chest gently and said it wasn't his time. The next thing he knew he was on the border of camp, looking completely fine.
Above his head was the sign of his mother and as he wandered into the camp - looking confused - everyone stared at him. Chiron took him into the Big House and explained everything as best as he could.
Mortal Parent: Yatuka Kobayashi, father. Alive.
Other Family: Minoru Kobayashi, uncle. Deceased.
