Dressing Style: When he's in the Forge he likes to wear clothes that are comfortable like tank tops, plain t-shirts and jeans. Everything that can get dirty or even ripped. But outside the Forge he prefers to wear casual chic or sometimes even preppy clothing.
General Appearance: No one would ever think that he's a child of Hephaestus. He's rather good-looking and handsome. But who said they have to be ugly? Avon is tall, standing at 6'2, and pretty muscular from working everyday in the Forge. He has almond-shaped, warm, honey colored eyes and dark brown hair. He cares a lot about his appearance except when being in the Forge. All in one, he's a manly man!

Personality Description:
Avon is ambitious, energetic, hard-working and focused when it comes to crafting and building. He hates it when someone disturbs him or messes with his stuff. He can get pretty angry if someone does it. But he is actually a friendly and kind guy. When he is not working on something, he likes to relax and just be lazy. Yes, lazy. He's a pretty laid-back guy and doesn't have any problems getting along with others, despite having no social contacts before coming to Camp. Sometimes he can be a bit immature and silly. Avon would never stab someone in the back. He's a loyal and reliable person. He would even throw himself in front of an arrow or sword if someone he really likes or favors is in danger. On the other hand: he can be a bit rude if he's in a bad mood or annoyed but that rarely happens. Fighting is something he really despises and he is not really good at it to be honest. If someone was trying to have a fight with him, he would just leave without saying anything. Ever since the Laestrygonian attack happened, he has serious problems trusting others. Just like his dad, he can be really jealous. If someone would ever betray him, he would build traps and try to get back at them.

Personal History:
Avon was born to Cherise Deverell, a wealthy woman. His mother used to own a small sculptures and statues store, but after her mother died, she inherited a lot. But she still worked on sculptures and statues at home.
His mother wasn't too sad about his father leaving right after they met.
Avon's life has been pretty quiet for a demigod life. Nothing really happened when he was young. But then again, his mother never let him leave the house. He had a home tutor, a nanny and his only friend – Laester, the nanny's teenager son who was a bit weird and looked like King Kong.
She cared a lot about her son, giving him all the love she had. Cherise showed and taught him how to make sculptures as soon as he was able to walk. She knew that either way, her son would become a talented craftsman later in his life.
He always liked working with his mother on sculptures or statues but he always had a preference for anything to do with metal and mechanical things.
One day, after his twelfth birthday, he and Laester, sneaked out of the building and went to a park nearby. There was a metallic statue he has always wanted to see. When they arrived, Avon walked straight to the statue, ignoring the transformation of his friend. As he turned around, a giant Laestrygonian stood in front of him. He panicked, not knowing what to do, and ran back to his house. Of course he was being followed by the huge monster.
It was still bright outside and time for his home tutor to arrive. He ran into his teacher and hurriedly told him what happened in the park. But just as they turned around to see where the monster was, it stood right in front of them. His home tutor, a satyr, knew what to do and pulverized the Laestrygonian.
Avon was too shocked to get what happened. He never really liked anything related to fantasy or even monsters. He cared more about his building skills and not about reading fairy tales that make no sense.
After he calmed down, his mother and satyr tutor explained everything to him. At first in didn't want to leave his home and his loving mother, but as soon as the satyr mentioned a big forge and an armory, he decided to leave and go to Camp Half Blood.
They took the safest and fastest way to travel to New York. His first impression of the camp was 'Whoa, that is super cool.' He got claimed during dinner, nothing special really happened. After being introduced to his cabin, he went straight to the Forge to check it out. It seemed like paradise to him. There was so much stuff to work with and build. Yes, he really really loved it and still does.
He gets to visit his mother occasionally, but prefers to stay as a year rounder. The reason? Duh. The Forge!
