Divine Parent: Poseidon. (I think this is okay, right?)

Playby: Jeremy Young.
Dressing Style:
Wolfgang doesn't care much for what he wears. He's not really into fashion so he'll usually just wear the usual Camp Half-Blood T-shirt and jeans with a sweater thrown over the top. If that isn't available to him then he'll just wear what he can find as he doesn't fall for brand names.
His other personality is pretty much the same, although he tends to wear more formal clothes. If Wolfgang ever wears a suit then it's clear that it is his "evil" side. Also, he loves to wear his old Schutzstaffel uniform.
General Appearance:
Wolfgang is rather handsome but he wouldn't think so himself. He's shy and it is evident with his body language. He's also quite muscular and you can tell that he's trained. Tonnes of scars decorate his body, so it is clear that he isn't a stranger to battle.
When his "evil" personality is in control, he always has a stern expression and strides around instead of walking. Instead of smiling warmly as his other personality would, he smiles coldly. It's obvious to those around him that he thinks he's in control, and that he's a very confident individual.
What Makes Them Them
Personality Description:
Wolfgang's personality depends on when you met him. If you met him in his past life then you would find out what an evil, sick man he was. He would often shut out the rest of the world and the only thing he felt was a rush from killing. That was all down to nurture, not nature though. Bernhardt and the SS both changed him for the worse, filling his mind with propaganda and horrid memories. It caused him to become emotionless and self-absorbed so that he wouldn't care for anyone else but himself. Nobody would want to know him if they knew that he was one of the murderers stationed at Auschwitz - a man who had killed more than he'd had hot dinners.
After his transformation back to a teenager though he became just as he was as a child; he became shy and and lacking in confidence. Especially not knowing who he was. He became old fashioned so that he wouldn't watch TV, or even listen to the radio. Girls would be very hard for him as he would freak out if they came into physical contact with him, as he doesn't usually receive much affection. When coming to camp he was often the victim of bullying and a lot of people insulted him over his stutter and social retardation. So yeah, in that regard he's easily intimidated.
He's often found alone reading a book or whistling to himself, much like he did outside of Bernhardt's meetings. If anyone asks him to play anything he loves to play board games such as chess. He despises video games because he thinks that they don't teach you anything and that they're far too modern.
Generally he's a very geeky kid, the type that always reads books and would much rather do some homework over talking to fellow campers. If he was able to go to a regular school too he'd likely be an outcast because of his tendencies, perhaps not so much in camp because there's an understanding. Despite this though, Wolfgang has a violent undertone to him, so that if it comes to combat he could easily whoop your butt. As an ex-soldier he's got plenty of experience in tactics and life-or-death situations, plus with going to camp in his past life it means that he's experienced with firearms and swords. A lot of his powers come naturally to him too, so if he has to he'll send you flying with a torrent of water.
Likes:
- Nice people
- Board games
- Books
- Water (to drink as well as to manipulate)
- Swimming
Dislikes:
- Intimidating people
- Video games
- Sex (not that he's experienced it or anything, he just would prefer to have it after marriage)
- Alcohol
- Drugs
- Fast food
Fears: 3+ For one, he's scared of being bullied further in camp. As such, his nice personality tends to give people the silent treatment unless they put in enough effort to gain his trust. Another thing he's scared of is his other personality, as he has heard from people about how horrible he is, so he's scared of becoming him. Finally, he's scared of what the future has in store for him. He wants to know where he's going, he doesn't like the idea of his life being unknown to him.
Secrets: None, other than the fact that his evil personality has killed thousands of people and probably intends to kill more.
Ambitions: He wants to be able to live a nice life. That's all he asks for. His other personality wishes to be marked down in history.
Powers: Being a demigod he's able to read Ancient Greek quite easily and he has natural reflexes and instincts. Although, with his ex-soldier training he's very experienced in combat and quite naturally excels in fighting although he doesn't currently put it to much use. As a son of Poseidon he has inherited the ability to manipulate water, speak to Pegasi, be healed by water and he can make earthquakes and whirlwinds.
Family and History
Personal History:
Wolfgang's history is a long and dark one. It began in early 1907 in Berlin, Germany. Agnes was rather poor and was the type to buy little but make the most of everything she got. Her husband at the time, Eldric, was a part of the German navy. She long awaited his return and when he did the family would talk all night. One time he did not return. That one time, his ship had sunk. Agnes was horrified and decided to go to look out at the sea, as a tribute to him, every year on the day of his death. That day was the 17th of February. She was so engrossed by the sea that she did not notice the strange bearded man that was watching her. His bright blue eyes examined her expression as if he knew her pain, as if he felt guilt.
As she went to leave on the February of 1908 the man approached, he introduced himself as Tjark. Agnes wasn't much in the mood for a chat but he asked her politely about her interest in the ocean, their eyes met and suddenly she felt so warm. She saw a kindness in his eyes that made her feel as if he knew, as if he understood everything. She found herself telling him and eventually got wrapped up in a conversation with him, despite the fact that she was supposed to be doing the cleaning. They parted ways and she headed home to do her jobs around the house. What was a woman to do? No man would want her if she couldn't do the housework but she found herself distracted. Agnes could still vividly see Tjark's piercing blue eyes staring into hers, his eyes conveying so much emotion. He had been such a gentleman.
By chance she spotted him once again across the street from her. He hadn't seen her, or at least he was pretending he hadn't. Agnes walked over to the man and smiled broadly at him. Again, they began to converse and he invited her to join him at dinner later on. So from there the two went on their first date. After numerous dates the two moved in together, Agnes did all the housework and kept him happy. They were like any other couple in Berlin except that Tjark wasn't a man, he was in fact the sea god. Instead of going to work like he said, he was doing his godly business; going to Olympus and so on. Eventually Agnes bore Poseidon's child and that was when he knew he had to move on and let fate take it's course; whilst they was out one time Poseidon fell off the docks and into the harsh waters. He never resurfaced. Everyone writ him off as deceased and Agnes was once again distraught, losing her second lover to the waters. It was like a curse she seemed to possess.
After months she gave birth to a child, Wolfgang he was named, and she met another man named Bernhardt. He was also a soldier in the German military and again, they got married and she would await his return. Wolfgang grew up in Berlin as a headstrong, outgoing child. He made lots of friends in school and despite his unusual behavior (not having been diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia) he seemed to get on well in school for a demigod. Discipline seemed to keep him in line as he would be thwacked for stepping out of line the tiniest bit.
During 1914 Archduke Franz Ferdinand, presumed heir to the Austro-Hungary throne, was assassinated by Gavrilo Princip and the rest of the Black Hand. At this point in time Wolfgang did not know about it and the fact that it was one of the reasons for the first world war, but later on in time he would research and find out about it. In that year the first world war started and of course, Bernhardt was one of many who were sent to fight. It only made Agnes more frightened of her losing another lover and Wolfgang did not comprehend what was about to happen to the world around him.
Four years on and the war had ended. Bernhardt came back to see his family and despite the obvious excitement that Agnes was feeling, the mood was very dark. Bernhardt exclaimed about how the politicians had stabbed them in the back, that they could have won the war. Kaiser Wilhelm II had abdicated so that made things even worse. Bernhardt joined up with the Freikorps, a group which was filled with many people who shared his beliefs. Wolfgang, being the classic eight year old, looked up to Bernhardt and these men as role models. He believed them. That was partly the reason for his evilness in the future.
The Koenig family struggled even more after the war than they had done before. Germany's economy was at an all time low after signing the Treaty of Versailles and rebellions were common, with the Spartacist rebellion being notable, however the Freikorps murdered the two leaders. Agnes relied on the money that Bernhardt could bring in as times were so rough, she actually felt like fleeing the country. They were all being held responsible for the war anyway.
At the ripe age of ten Wolfgang watched as the world around him was crumbling. The government was in tatters and everybody knew it. Wolfgang met another man - Wolfgang Kapp, a Prussian civil servant and a politician. They both met as Bernhardt took Wolfgang out, as he did now and then, to wait outside of a meeting. Wolfgang strolled around whistling until the group of men left their meeting. Wolfgang met Kapp and smiled admirably, Bernhardt explained that Kapp was a very important man indeed.
In March 1920 things began to heat back up again. Another rebellion, this time known as the Kapp Putsch rebellion, kicked off and the Freikorps among other forces took Berlin and scared off the Weimar government. Wolfgang and Agnes both wished for the Freikorps and Kapp to succeed; why wouldn't they with Bernhardt filling their minds with his propaganda?
Despite having a lot of support the Putsch failed and Kapp along with Lüttwitz fled to Sweden. This was due to a general strike that was called in by the government, obviously the Koenig family did not help with that strike. Bernhardt came home in a fit of rage, complaining about how close they were. Fortunately, Bernhardt hadn't been a major player in the whole event so he need not flee. A second rebellion had failed.
Three years later in 1923, Wolfgang went to school as per usual. Although, in recent times things weren't usual with hyperinflation causing the currency to be worth nothing. A man was watching him, he was bearded and had piercing blue eyes. Wolfgang spotted him watching and confronted him about it. Poseidon explained carefully that he was Wolfgang's father, that he was in fact not dead, and that he shouldn't tell his mother about that. Wolfgang found it hard to believe him and when Poseidon asked him to go with him to camp it made him all the more suspicious but he went with him to America. Everything was different there; the culture, the currency and even the language.
Wolfgang was brought to Camp Half-Blood and was told that he was the child of Poseidon. He stayed in the cabin on his own and trained for years on his abilities, namely his hydrokinesis. He also learned how to fight with a celestial bronze sword and a gun loaded with celestial bronze bullets. His time at camp hardened him and he learned the truth about the world; about how tough it was to survive out there. Wolfgang grew past his adolescence and he began to distance himself from other campers, especially those who were still angry with the Germans after the war. He spent more time on making sure he was ready to fight, as he wanted to do much more than be a hero. It wasn't his deal, really.
After camp he traveled around America for a while to get to know his enemies. Bernhardt had filled his mind up with so much propaganda that he refused to believe Germany was in the wrong and after extensive research he figured out himself that his country wasn't the one to blame. It should have been a shared responsibility and Ebert had sucked right up to America, Britain and France. Wolfgang picked up on the accent and his English improved greatly, as did his natural surviving skills as he learned how to get food and fight off anyone who would try to stop him. After a couple of months he returned to Germany where his life would turn for the worse.
By the time Wolfgang came back the Nazi Party was in occupation and Adolf Hitler was a prominent figure. Bernhardt had passed away and Agnes was beginning to grow old, there was no chance for her to find love anymore. Wolfgang looked after her and like any good son he got a job and started to make money, his intentions at this point wasn't to get involved with the military. Again, he had no interest in being a hero, and he felt that he couldn't leave his mother to die whilst he was out fighting. Despite this though, she really wanted him to. It seemed like the honorable thing to do.
Wolfgang didn't even have to attempt to join up. Once though, a neighbor spotted Wolfgang from his window manipulating water. It was weird to see. He told a friend of his and soon the word spread and Wolfgang was suspected to possess some sort of power, so he was captured by the Schutzstaffel (SS) and was experimented on. They wanted him to become a super soldier, someone they could use in the war against the enemy. Wolfgang was tortured and exposed to extreme violence and he was forced to witness men, women and children alike die. His emotions ceased to exist, he became a monster so to speak. Nobody mattered to him anymore.
Wolfgang was given a uniform and became a part of SS. He was stationed at Auschwitz and became a part of the evil force that killed thousands of men, women and children. He despised the Jews and he actually felt some sort of satisfaction for killing them, among others who were killed for other reasons. He felt like he was doing the world a favor. Eventually as the war intensified he was sent out, with his abilities and all, to the Normandy landings. Wolfgang used his abilities to sink incoming ships and he killed hundreds of men, despite this though they were fighting a losing battle and he was one of the only survivors.
Shortly after World War II ended and Wolfgang fled to America once more, where he kept his head down and didn't let anyone know his history. He married a beautiful woman and they had kids and a nice house, surely they were living the dream? Not really. Wolfgang felt nothing for her and he was still wrapped up in his memories and he often had fantasies of killing people. He had grown to love the rush it gave him and he wanted to feel it again. Even nearing old age he was often racist and was an aggressor in plenty of bar fights. However with plenty of grandchildren and his wife dead he became incredibly ill. Wolfgang had a heart attack.
He awoke in hospital. Before him was a woman, well he thought it was anyway. When she spoke to him though he quickly realized his mistake, it was a goddess. She introduced herself as Hebe, goddess of youth, and a representative of the rest of the gods. Hebe spoke, her voice thick with disappointment, and told him that Poseidon was upset with the way Wolfgang had lived his life. Hebe said that Wolfgang would not be able to die, so simply, after his crimes against humanity. Wolfgang tried to speak but it came out as a croak.
Hebe looked at him and he felt a sudden blood rush. Wolfgang thought he was going to die again but in fact his skin was shrinking, his limbs shrunk and his muscles tightened. The sags beneath his eyes disappeared and he silver hair glimmered with color. He was young again.
Wolfgang awoke in the middle of the streets, not being able to remember where he was from or who his parents was. All that was vivid to him was his name. Wolfgang Koenig. He spent a couple of months strolling around the streets, somehow he knew exactly how to handle himself on them, before he was discovered by a satyr. He was taken to Camp Half-Blood again, only Chiron and Dionysus knowing his dark past.
However, after a couple of weeks of being in camp he was determined to discover his past. So, he looked around the camp records and found his file. The result of this was his past self being brought back to life, as he was locked in the recesses of his mind. Instead of one person maintaining control over the body, there became two. One being evil and the other being a shy bully victim.
Mortal Parent: Agnes Koenig, deceased.
Other Family: Bernhardt Koenig, stepfather, also deceased.
"Kai" Koenig, great grandson, alive. (may put out a request for him)
And Finally...
I, Damiano, have made this entirely up. I did not rip somebody else’s application from any site, and have followed the rules accordingly.
And…? Yes.
