[Amelia Seddon]

No fancy formatting, because I'm the laziest person ever.

Amy is a daughter of Aphrodite who pretty much conforms to all the stereotypes. She likes pink, celebrities, fashion, and would be sad if she ever broke a nail. She's terribly insecure and defeatist, having decided that it's better to be a pretty face than to try at things and fail at them.

Friends: She's kind and quick to sympathize with people - so there are probably some people who like her.

But on the other hand, she's also gullible and really desperate for affection - want your own personal toy to manipulate and use? Get your own Amelia here!

The one thing is that I don't think she'd be quick to befriend anyone from the Ares cabin - she's not very comfortable with violence or anger, and she's a bit shallow when it comes to looks. /cough

Enemies: I don't know if she necessarily has a /nemesis/ (if you want to work it out, though, that might be funny?), but I think she's been here long enough at camp to have people who annoy her.

She also has issues with people who mainly use force to get what they want.

Romance: She's a daughter of Aphrodite! She digs all that stuff. She's not in a relationship right now - even an Aphrodite girl needs a break sometimes - though she would probably be open to starting one.

Ex-boyfriends and the like very appreciated by me; I imagine she's gone through a few by now.

For newly started romances - I'd rather do the entire thing via threading without OOC plotting in case it turns out not to work for the characters. xD So basically, you don't need to ask me if you want romancey things; just toss a flirting character at Amy in a thread. No guarantees on reciprocation, though.


If you just want to throw our characters together and see what wacky hijinks emerge, I would love to!

[Camille Devraux]

Juliyetta (Athena); Julie's an intelligent girl, but her forte is chemistry and fashion. She supplies the Aphrodite girls with hand-crafted, fashionable and one of a kind clothes. I assume that, since she's a stereotypical daughter, then they'd get along rather well, even if Julie chastises her for her lack of direction. She might even be able to help feed Amelia's feminism.

Jonathan(Eris)' Jonathan is a trouble-maker. If Amelia goes for that type of guy, he's still available (and is played by Johnny Depp, so...). He's friendly, but he's also a real big teaser and likes to make people angry on purpose. He'd have fun with someone who was vain.

Camille (Aphrodite): Camille... is Camille. She's a huge bitch, for lack of words. She's not afraid to get dirty and she LOVES violence and inflicting pain on others. At the same time, she takes good care of her appearance. Of course, she doesn't believe in love and only has one friend at the moment (and a half, if you count her friends girlfriend). Of course, I have romantic plans for her future, if her sister wants to play a part in that. ^_^

Serenity (Euterpe/unclaimed): Serenity is a mute daughter of a muse. She can't talk, but she's definitely a great listener. She has the ability to play any instrument that she puts her hands on, and, with Amelia's love for beauty, that counts beautiful melodies, right? I can definitely see them getting along.

Leilani (Nymph, awaiting acceptance): Leilani is a ditz... and she can't read. She loves beatiful things and keeping herself pretty, so I can see her going to the Aphrodite cabin for help as well as switching beauty secrets from her own organic creations. She's friendly and sweet too, despite her lack of intelligence.

Juliyetta: Okay, you had me at "feminism". xD RP engaging with feminism = always appreciated! I assume that Julie and Amelia would get along well, too (chastising for lack of direction aside - I think Amelia would just ignore it and be all "IT'S EASY FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE SKILLS "); I feel like Amy would be a bit in awe of Julie and perhaps go to her for advice a bit sometimes.

Jonathan: Based on his profile, it seems like he normally dislikes Aphrodite children and people with too much cheerfulness and not much creativity or mischief? xD It seems like any thread with him would be full of crack and merriness, so I'm down!

Romance-wise, I don't think Amy would really go for a guy who would probably make her angry a lot - but that's not to say that there might not be romantic hijinks.

Camille: Hey, I'm down for playing support to a romantic subplot. xD What would you see Amy's role as being?

Amy's a bit more confused on the whole love thing than Camille - she has this doublethinky view of love and relationships: on one hand, relationships are a status symbol, and every heart you break and every relationship you're in is a hole punched in your Punchcard of Being an Awesome Beautiful Aphrodite's Daughter. On the other hand, true love a la romance novels. xD Perhaps they should get in a discussion about love sometime!

Serenity: Yup! I think Amy would love her. However, I'm reluctant to actually throw the two of them together into a thread, since it seems Serenity also fears embarrassing herself and isn't the sort of character to put herself forward? I'd prefer to play Amy with people who are more assertive/troublemaking/lulzy right now, for fear of the thread degenerating into "AND THEN THEY STOOD AROUND MAKING SMALL TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER".

Leilani: Leilani sounds super awesome, and I think she and Amy would get along well together - I don't think Amy would really mind a lack of intelligence that much? xD Amy actually really likes flowers, as well - not so much the gardening and dirts bits, but the prettiness and the smell. Amy's dad is a poet, so who knows, we might be able to work in the reading bit as well.
