I, Aries, have made all theses poems. I know they stink, but it sort of expresses me . . . The next time I feel angry, you can bet I'll put a poem up And ignore my horrible spacing, I suck at that . . . ANYWAYS!!! Poem #1
Watching :
I watched as everything I loved burn to the ground,
and everything I hoped would be great turned around
I watched as shadows called out my name, dark and wanting.
I watched through a pane of glass, ever so keen
to tell this nightmare goodbye and farewell,
Outsiders watched as I kissed love goodbye,
settling into a life long disparity. Trails and treason,
I knew what was coming, but brighter days will
shine through, and break this long night.
Well that is a dream, a hopeless dream,
that everything I love will soon be back.
I do not believe it is true. Until I bored the train
of death and reach the skies, I will never be
able to smolder my cries.
Outsiders saw me, salt stinging my eyes,
adjusting myself to what lies yonder,
what my life will become, which I already know.
They see me, and look down, they do not understand,
they think it is perfect in this sinful land,
They watch me from outside, and all they see is sun
beautiful skies is what masks the hurt inside.
They look down on me, for being dramatic,
and I cower, away form everything, and I lie alone,
in the shadow of a soul, who believes I am wrong,
and that it is not midnight, it is really dawn.
I try to ignore, everything I feel, I try to smother my tears,
but hope is one thing, without it you can barley live,
for I have lost it, so long ago, I stopped believing it was true.
I sat back, know what lies ahead, and what I have to do,
but I know more than others, and I am comfortable with that.
I sit back in the dark and lonely, ignore the shadows that
whisper my name, and become content with the unforgiving world, and how sinful it is
I sit back and watch, all the other hopes burn to the ground,
and I knowingly approach, the only one who understands,
I felt so much pain, I should do my best, to make sure no
others suffer through the same,
