Personality Description:
Confident. Hana is not afraid to show that she is proud of herself and her accomplishments. She is genuinely satisfied with herself, physically and mentally, and will flaunt the fact that she is not insecure in the slightest, aside from the moments that everybody has at some point or another. Seeing as she has almost always been a confident and happy person, she often gets impatient with those who are less so or unhappy with themselves; she can be somewhat close minded about confidence and self esteem.
Loud. Hana is extremely extroverted and loud. She will oftentimes turn people off because she can be a bit overbearing when you first meet her. She likes to be in control, and is not afraid to yell at people if they cross her. Once again, she's almost intolerant of people who dislike this quality of hers.
Pressuring. Though she tries her best not to be, Hana often pressures people into doing things. It might be the Charmspeak that occasionally finds its way into her words, or it could be the fact that she's naturally persuasive and a good talker; in any case, she can come across as intimidating and pressuring. Once again, this can turn people off. She doesn't realize she's doing it, except occasionally when it's pointed out to her; even then, she may counter that she's just being 'supportive.' Hana is a hotheaded person and her short temper often leads to trouble.
Caring. Despite the fact that she can be overbearing, Hana can be an extremely caring and loyal friend or even acquaintance to have. If you have her on your side, then you have somebody to lean on and help you through whatever problems you have. Hana will go out of her way to make sure her friends are comfortable and okay, and if you're feeling down, will wait with you until you're better. She's also very good with small children.
Perceptive. Hana is a remarkably perceptive person; she's very good at telling when things are off-kilter or abnormal. She can help a person feel better in many a situation and notices many small things that others do not; she makes a point of paying very close attention to small details, and thus has an odd state of mind. She takes pride in thinking differently than other people.
Skeptical. Hana is not easily trusting, and will not accept something without inspecting it for flaws. Personal History:
Adam Stallworth could be described as unconventionally beautiful. A senior in college when he met Aphrodite, he was doing some local modeling gigs to earn some money whilst still in school. It was at one of his shoots that he met Aphrodite; posing as a pretty young mortal, she had been asked to model at the same photoshoot as Adam.
Portraying lovers throughout the shoot, Adam and Aphrodite took a liking to each other immediately during the breaks. It was Adam who first struck up the conversation and, though skeptical of this mortal, Aphrodite quickly grew attracted to him. Maybe it was the way he held himself; maybe it was the blue eyes that were simultaneously bright and impossibly dark. Or maybe it was the way that he seemed to show an intense interest in her in a way that wasn't intrusive.
When the shoot was published in a local magazine, it attracted the attention of a different photographer; he was an older man who had done photoshoots for major Hollywood celebrities in the past, but had now retired. The combination of Aphrodite and Adam in the shoot made the photos seem interesting, even alive. The photographer knew he had stumbled across a rare pairing, a pairing that really made you feel something even through a magazine page.
He obtained the pair's contact information and asked to shoot them separately; they had lost touch with each other, but they both showed up and once again hit it off. After this shoot with the photographer, they kept in touch and met up frequently to talk. After one night at a bar with several drinks each, they left to Adam's apartment and made love. Aphrodite soon discovered she was pregnant, and nine months later, Adam walked out of his front door one morning to nearly trip over a basket on his doorstep. It was woven out of unearthly material and contained a beautiful baby girl with an envelope clutched in her chubby left hand. The envelope contained an explanation; who Aphrodite was, who the baby was, what Adam had to do to fulfill his responsibilities as the parent of a half-blood. Aphrodite had cast a charm on the paper so that Adam accepted every word without question.
Adam named the child Hana after his grandmother. And so Hana Stallworth, daughter of Aphrodite, came into being.
Hana was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia when she was in elementary school; though she had some learning problems, she was obviously a very bright child. When she was twelve years old, Adam took her to Camp Halfblood, where she stayed for summers only until she was fifteen, where she began attending year-round. She was claimed at age sixteen, four whole years after she arrived at camp. On her twenty-first birthday, she will become a counselor.
