RP Sample:Max dug her fingers an inch into the mud at the bottom of the lake and pulled them through. How could her locket just be gone? She had gone through a hell of a lot with that, and for that useless piece of gold. She wasn't going to let it slip through her fingers this easily. It was so uncharacteristic for her to care this much about something that wasn't functional at all. Or itseemed uncharacteristic. In reality, her sister had given her that locket. Her dead sister. The one that died to protect her.
In a flash of olive skin and more murky water, Max was lifted out of it. Stupid guy who had lost it was trying to say something. “I can’t help you if you don’t tell me what you’re looking for, kid. So spit it out. What is it that you lost?” he said. Maxine didn't exactly want his help, though. He was the reason it was lost, and she was more than capable then to find it without the help of some idiot councilor who couldn't tell his butt from a hole in the ground.
Max just looked at him in that ''no way, bonehead!'' way of hers for a moment. ''Gold locket! she said before diving back under. Her eyes stung because she had to look under the water, snf her hair floated around her, so brown it blended with the bottom. She darted around, swimming with fluid movements and a deceivingly calm, emotionless face.
Maxine came up for air. Forcing it into her lungs and in several gasps she was back down under. The daughter of Nike was totally upset now. The only thing left of her sister may just be gone forever . . . And all for a stupid prank! The nerve of that jerk! Max came up for air once more, pulling clear, cool vapors into her mouth to be sucked down her throat.
She began to go down when she noticed the guy staring at her. Gosh! Couldn't he do anything but sit there and gape!? With wet hair that clung to her neck and forehead, eyes that where now red and puffy and clothes that where wet, muddy and had a variety of stains on them clinging to her torso and legs, Max didn't look the part of an intimidating beast.
Oh, but she was.

General Appearance:
She's that overly skinny tall girl with hair I would die for and eyes that are usually filled with pain. She's pretty yet so insecure that she's trying to hide her face from you so you can't see how ugly she thinks she is. Novera is the girl with scars on her wrists and she seems to radiate pain. Her biggest flaw is that she is so unnaturally tall. What guy wants to date someone that's as tall as them? Another flaw is that she gets acne like no body's business. No matter what she does, she's always suffering from pimples.

Personality Description:
To describe Novera in one word would depend on your opinion. To those who don't know her well, that word might be ''overemotional'' and maybe even ''fake''. Some people who know her--Like, BFF know her--would most likely say that the one word is ''strong''.
Novera fights suicide on a daily basis. She feels so unloved all the time. From her childhood she learned to put a cork on your feelings and just ignore them, so from that she will sometimes just sob uncontrollably from all the feelings. But she is strong in the sense that she doesn't give up. She tries to ignore that taunting and the want for death by pushing on through life. She has talked herself out of suicide more times than she can count and will probably need to talk herself out of it many more times in the future.
Novera cuts her arms, too. She feels the physical pain and it distracts her from the mental pain, then the throbbing after wards seems to let her know that she is connected to the earth. She doesn't exactly enjoy pain, but she prefers pain over feeling nothing. Emotions make you human; humans where put on the earth for a reason. Long story short, Novera needs to be reminded that she was put here for a reason.
She is fake in the fact that she will put on a face to keep you from seeing the pain, but her eyes are never filled with cheer. Novera seems to cry out in pain with nothing but her eyes. Physical or mental, you can always see the emotion in her eyes. The reason she tries to hide her pain is because of her insecurity. Novera always tries to show the world that she is perfect. But she is far from it.
Friends are her hopes, dreams, wishes, ect. She has been let down many times before, so she is hard to trust, but once you get her to trust you she will treat you like gold. She feels so, so very happy. So elated. Nothing can bring her down when she is with a friend.

Family and History
Personal History:
When Stephanie Grace was fifteen, she met Moro's. Moros was attractive and dark, brooding. It didn't take long for Stephanie, the boy-chaser, to go after him. The reason that Moros agreed to date her was because she was beautiful and had an aura of doom. She fell in love with Moros and he found her the best mortal he had met. So one day, six years later, he bent down on one knee and offered her a ring. She accepted the offer and they got married. After two years, they had a baby girl. they named her Novera as a unique name for her unique looks.
Moros left soon after the baby was born, returning to Olympus. Stephanie was traumatized, but got over it quickly. She raised Novera to a healthy eight-year-old girl before they moved. They moved to Israel for her moms work. Novera left all her friends behind, and the left. When they where in Israel, Novera made friends. She rapidly learned the dialect. She got a boyfriend and a bestie and was perfectly happy.
When she was thirteen, she was walking down the beach with her friend at night. Her mom was away for work and she was staying with said friend. A twenty-one year old lifeguard saw them walking and offered them a ride home in his car. Novera and her friend accepted it and got in the car. While inside the lifeguard was revealed to have not been the nice guy they thought he was. He committed a crime while also revealing that he was drunk. After a few hours he let them go. Still drunk, the lifeguard pushed the two girls that where now scared for life out of the car and into the twilight.
Novera and her friend where so ashamed that they had accepted the ride, they made up a lie to tell their parents. They where scared for life from that day on, but no one was to know their pathetic thoughts that made them get in the car, so they just pushed farther into life and tried to ignore the pain.
Two years after the incident, they moved back. Novera came back to school and all her friends saw her as a weirdo because she had lived in Israel for so long. Everyone who she once loved turned their backs on her and ignored her. Okay, so maybe she never had the best friends. A year later the pain and rejection got so bad that she cut herself for the first time.
That year she was fighting suicide like none before. With her boyfriend and friends gone, she was cast into a self-induced depression. She would get up and force herself into getting up in the morning and going too school. At one point she fell and someone saw the scars on her wrists, and soon the whole school knew her secret. After that, people started to leave notes on her locker. Mean names like ''cutter'' where written on the notes. People also started calling her those things.
Her mom tried all the therapy and everything she could, but Novera would never admit to the thing that had happened so many years ago. Her mom even put her in an Asylum for having no reason to cut herself, but that didn't last long as the doctors soon dissected that she was perfectly sane. This happened until her seventeenth birthday.
On her seventeenth birthday, her mom decided that Novera was old enough and explained who her dad was. She then drove her to camp and she has been there for a week.
