General Appearance:Selena has this weird appearance that is both kind of cute, and kind of menacing. Her cute part is her shortness. She's fifteen, and hasn't grown a centimeter since she was eleven. This adds a little spark to her oddness, and makes it odd that such a small person could have such a menacing, angry aura.
Selena really just throws on whatever clothes are clean. Jean shorts and graphic t-shirts are her specialty, and she'll even braid her hair sometimes, if she's up for it. Or she'll even wear a baseball cap and put her ponytail through it, if she's going out ot train. Her dressing style overall: semi-tomboy.
If you had to totally sum up Selena's appearance, you would probably say that she was a tomboy that got hit by a wave of girly, but still kept her tomboy ways. That sounds about right.
What Makes Them Them
Personality Description:
If I had to give one, overall word for Selena's personality it would be 'mixed'. She's practically a giant mish-mosh of everything. She's gentle and kind, but menacing and rude, and clumsy and foolish. But I'll start with her gentle and kind side.
She really likes sailing and water sports and has a serious soft spot on animals. That would be about the only up-side of Selena. When you get to know her, she can actually seem pretty nice, and doesn't seem as much like a freaky, angry witch as she does when you first meet her. People often take a first impression of her as naive and stupid, and that's what gets her kind of mad. The underestimation of her abilities.
Speak of her getting mad, she has slight anger issues. Her short temper proves to often get in her way, and gives her an edgy attitude. She's the Queen of Witty Comebacks and Verbal Abuse. She's sassy, but in an aggresive way more than a diva way.
When you get her mad, there's no turning back. Her strength is often underestimated as well, but her bites hurt like crazy. In fact, her special move is biting. It's the best. One time she even drew blood! So, honestly, you better watch out when she gets mad.
And the thing that Selena hates most about herself: her clumsiness. She trips about thirty times a day, and that's just on her feet. She's fast, but a little too fast for her own good, and is amazing at making a fool of herself, and that's her reputation. Making a fool of herself. Selena doesn't like embarrassing herself, so she, obviously, lies and says that she did the foolish actions on purpose, so people think that it's kind of funny. It's pretty sad, actually.
But I really, really, really, really, really, really, really don't think that it's very smart to insult her within kicking range. She's not afraid to rearrange your face, and has no mercy for anyone who interferes with her. She doesn't believe in second chances at all, because no one ever gave her a second chance to make an impression. Once you've gotten on her bad side, there's no turning back. She will despise you until one of you dies, whether its you or her. If she dies, she'll despise you even when she's down in the Underworld, and this is why she has so many enemies. Once it starts, it doesn't end.

Family and History
Personal History:
Patricia was a hard-working woman in the army. She trained warriors in weaponary, and sometimes went into combat. She caught Ares's heart with her hard-headed determination, and he took an interest to her. Being a tomboy, Patricia wasn't really that interested at first, but then saw Ares's battle skills and concentration that matched her's, and he finally woed her. So, they had their first child, Jeremiah.
Two years later, Ares came back. He had missed Patricia. Then, unable to help themselves, they had another child. This time, it was a girl. Madeline Parker. Jeremiah and Madeline got along strangely well, for a brother and sister. They shared a lot, being close in age. Then, when Jeremiah was five and Madeline was three, Ares came back. He vowed that this would be the last time that he came, because Zeus was starting to get suspicious of the fact that he was leaving Olympus so much. And then Patricia and Ares had another child. Selena.
Ares left for the third and final time, leaving Patricia alone with three children to raise by herself.
Selena didn't enjoy her school, but didn't hate it. She didn't have dyslexia like her siblings did, but she did have ADHD, and was practically falling out of her seat every three seconds. But she was really good at writing, and very poetic. So school was okay. Then, when she was twelve, the monsters started coming.
Her mother explained briefly about Camp, and where it was, and said that the three were to go there immediately. The siblings obeyed, knowing that they would have each other to rely on.
After her children left, Patricia could no longer support herself with such a low-paying job, espeically where they lived in Pennsylvania, which was not much of an army place. So she married a man in her business, Daniel. The children never knew about him, but were told that their mother and her spouse had died when they finally got to camp in New York, and after they had all been claimed by Ares.
