Damon didn't know why he was out here. It was a nice day sure, but he didn't enjoy the beach when it was crowded. He didn't like crowds. His eyes were hidden behind sunglasses as the sun shone down on him. He gave a sigh and glared at his younger brother who just smiled and shook his head. He believed his older brother needed to get out more. And this was his way of making sure that happened. Stephan leaned back onto the sand and smirked at his brothers sour expression. "Oh stop. It's a nice day. Enjoy the sun. Make some new friends. Maybe even a girl?"
He knew the last one was a long shot. His brother had friends here, sure. But he just didn't seem to like any here. None had really caught his eye. Damon just curled at lip at his brother before speaking. "I agreed to keep you company at the beach. Not to be spawned off on some people I have never met and the only similarity that is for sure is our DNA for being Demi-gods." But he sighed not really meaning the condescending tone. He saw his brother just shrug.
He was hot. But then again, when wasn't way. And not in the looks department mind you. Sure he was good looking, but he was thinking temperature wise. After all, he radiated heat. Just think of the heat he lifted his palm and let his palm burst into a light flame. He cancelled it as he went to pick up some sand. Sure. The myth about sand being turned to glass was wrong, but still. He didn't want even hotter sand in his palm. He let it slide through his hands and watched as each grain fell.
He took off his sunglasses and wiped his face. His blue eyes mirroring the color of the ocean. It was such a contrast to his tan skin and dark brown hair. He was also exhausted. He had spent all night in the forges and had been able to finally fix all the weapons. Well until tonight and there would be a small amount from people practicing and fighting today. He leaned back onto his hands just as a football headed towards him. His brother was the first to react since he had been looking that way.
He grabbed it and after a moments hesitation tossed it right back. The boys playing stopped and walked over to him asking to if he wanted to play since he had a good arm. He looked towards his brother, not wanting to ditch him. Damon just shrugged. He didn't mind so much now. He watched as his brother ran off with the boys and they started playing teams. As he looked back out to ocean he realized the water would probably wake him up a bit more. Not only that but cool down his body.
He got up and walked in until he was about waist high. As a wave came at him he dove underneath it. As he came up he bumped into a girl. He steadied her first before speaking and seeing who she was. "Sorry about that. My eyes were closed as I dove under that wave." He gave a charming apologetic smile at her. Still not knowing who it was.
