Olivia Raine was the most miserable person on Earth. She had just lost her boyfriend to the shallowest, most annyoing, most diabolical girl in all of Camp Half-Blood. Camille Deveraux. CAMILLE DEVERAUX! She couldn't even believe it. Chase was such a great guy. And to stoop to Camille's level? No way. It really hurt. She had literally been up all night sobbing silently. Her face and eyes were bright red, and her brown eyes were completely bloodshot from lack of sleep and crying her eyes out. Her face was flushed, and her glasses lay limply on the table.
Obviously, she had been offered food and everything. Psh. Like she could eat or sleep when she had just pretty much had her heart broken. She saw her boyfriend literally making out with Deveraux! The sensitive Liv doesn't take that very lightly. And she was very sensitive. And single, now. It was literally causing her physical, mental and emotional PAIN. Her eyes hurt from not sleeping and crying, and her heart was torn into little pieces and ripped up. She had never been more upset in her whole entire seventeen years.
She had really thought that Chase was the one. He was everything. He was sweet and funny and charming ... and hot. But apparantly Liv just wasn't good enough for him. But Camille? Come on, people. Please. He could have just told her that he didn't like her. She would have understood. But to go and make out with an Aphrodite? That was just low. Really low.
Liv thought that he was probably bombing right now. Strutting around with his new girlfriend. Sure, last night he had tried to chase after her, but he probably gave up. Just let it go. After all, he had Camille now. It really, really hurt Liv. Once she got control of herself, she just thought of Chase again. His eyes perfectly silhouetted in the moonlight on their first date. And then she would burst into tears again, and hide under the covers so Jensen wouldn't bother her, even though he was really trying.
Olivia and Jensen were really close, and she knew that it made him pretty mad at Chase to see him do something so awful to her. After all, Jensen was her only sibling, and they meant a lot to each other. She knew it made him feel really bad. Honestly, he was trying to help. For about an hour he was asking her if she was sure that she didn't want him to go turn Chase into fried chicken, and offered her food and everything. But then he just went to sleep. Yup, that was Jensen for you. But she appreciated his effort. He spent two hours just bugging her. It was really sad for her, and she felt bad. She just kept putting him off.
Liv was under her bedcovers, sucking in strangled breaths, saltwater tears running down her cheeks. She let out a sad sniff. At least it couldn't get much worse. Maybe.
