It was stupid that tons of girls ran around, going ''I'M FAT!'' and believing it. Most of them where rail-thin Aphrodite girls who, in fact, where beautiful. There was the occasional Child of a Minor God that thought that, and that one strange Ares girl. But all of them where drop-dead gorgeous. It was just a sad fact of life that people didn't have as much self-confidence as they used to. But there are those girls who never lose their confidence...
Cinder Lynn, for example. She was happy and confident all the time. Even at that particular moment, she was dancing around the camp. She twirled around, doing leaps and saying 'hi' to her friends in between. She danced with gracefulness from all her ballet years, her hair catching the slight wind as she spun around so it flew around her head, only to land back in it's semi-perfect position when she stopped.
Cin' spun in a tight circule, then stopped altogether. Her golden skirt (that matched her eyeliner perfectly) was still floating around her due to the slight wind. She turned around to see herself in a reflection in the window of the Aphrodite cabin.
She was wearing a white blouse that was tucked in to her skirt, and a gold chain around her neck. Cinder's hair was perfectly curled even though she hadn't done anything with in in four hours. Man, she loved hairspray. Her makeup was light and there was a little bit of glitter at the the base of her cheekbones and where the light hit's her nose, making her look like she was glowing when she was in direct sunlight. So as usual, not a flaw to be seen.
Key words: To be seen.
See, Cinder just makes herself the best she can be. But in truth, she's a girl with flyaway hair and acne. But she can't stand to let people see that, so she covers it with makeup/hair product. Again, she really loved Hairspray.
She tore her gaze away from her reflection. The first person she saw was tall (to her, at least) with light hair spiked with hairgel and an open button-down shirt revealing some... eh... nice abs. Overall he was cute, not the cutest, but cute nonetheless. He was sitting on a bench by the cabin, and, of course, Cinder knew him and had to approach him.
''Jensen!''
Cinder ran over to the son of Zeus, dark locks trailing behind her. He had great potential, and Cinder saw that. Her perfectionist inside started screaming ''MAKE HIM REALIZE HIS POTENTIAL!''. So, of course, Cinder had to. She had settled on boosting his confidence every time she saw him andnaggingtelling him how great he could be if he tried. Poor guy, getting 'perfected' by Cinder Lynn must be tough...
