BOOTH DESCRIPTIONS
All booths are located in the front of their corresponding cabin with the sole exception being the Dionysus booth, which is in the North Woods.
ZEUS
Milk Jugs Game
Milk Jugs Game
A banner says, "Throw bolts like the Lord of the Skies!!!” It is the classic throw a ball at milk jugs game. Three rows are set up, with the dividing walls painted blue with clouds and cartoon thunder bolts (the zigzag-y ones) over them. At the end of each row is a stand of three "bottles", which are monster statues. One is of Minotaurs, the second is of gorgons, and the third has three harpies. Each campers gets two tosses to knock them over. The prizes are two large stuffed animals.
HERA
Honorary Booth

A large white marble bust of Hera sits atop a table covered in peacock feathers.
POSEIDON
Dunk Tank
Dunk Tank
A blue plastic tank that is about four feet tall rests next to a bright yellow tarp. A red button sits in the middle of the tarp and when pressed, the metal seat in the tank drops, releasing the unlucky victim into the lukewarm water. A piece of heavy rope several yards away marks off the area where the campers are supposed to stand; each camper is permitted two tries to hit the target with a tennis ball. Metal wiring surrounds the tank, shielding the victim from errant projectiles all the while discouraging Hermes campers from dumping unknown substances into the water. The victim rotates out every fifteen minutes on a first-come, first-serve basis. A Poseidon camper is always on duty to make sure the victim doesn't drown or leave before time is up.
DEMETER
Concession Stand
Concession Stand
With the help of the Hephaestus campers, the Demeter cabin has managed to assemble food stand consisting of a misshapen popcorn machine and a cotton candy machine shoved onto a rickety wooden table filled with various potted plants. Nearby is a camp stove and a cooler filled with Coca-Cola products. Four campers are always on duty, one sitting at the front to take orders and the other three cooking in the back. The menu is written neatly on a large sheet of green poster board. It reads:
Drink- 2 Drachma
Cotton Candy- 4 Drachma
Popcorn- 4 Drachma
Funnel Cake- 5 Drachma
Hot Dog- 5 Drachma
Cotton Candy- 4 Drachma
Popcorn- 4 Drachma
Funnel Cake- 5 Drachma
Hot Dog- 5 Drachma
A small fire sits dangerously close to the wooden booth, and campers may send offerings to the gods through it.
ARES
Hunger Games, Demigod Style
Hunger Games, Demigod Style
A large “arena” surrounding the Ares cabin has been marked off with red spray paint. In front of the arena is a large pile of celestial bronze weapons and a boom box blasting rock music. Five campers are released into the arena at a time, and they are required to fight until one remains. Campers are welcome to climb onto the cabin but may not enter it. Campers are disqualified if their blood is drawn, if they damage the Ares cabin (the Ares campers are more than happy to enforce this rule), if they maim or kill someone, or if they go out of bounds. Ares campers often join in on the fighting if they believe it has grown too dull. The last one standing wins a weapon of their choice from the pile.
ATHENA
History Museum
History Museum
The inside of the cabin has been transformed into a large black room that can transport people through various periods of time in history by changing the pictures on the walls. Inscriptions accompany the images, so it is like a very, very big museum.
APOLLO
Karaoke
Karaoke
A small golden stage about three feet tall, sits next to a table containing a boom box, a pair of microphones, and a tablet computer (WiFi turned off, of course) that contains a special karaoke app. A large cloth banner that reads “KARAOKE” in hand-painted gold lettering hangs above the stage. Campers are encouraged (and often forced) to step up and sing along with whatever song (both the mortal and demigod version are available) they wish. Occasionally, a couple of satyrs and Apollo campers will provide instrumentals.
ARTEMIS
Informational Booth
Informational Booth
A long, plastic fold-out table covered in silver silk sits underneath a black cloth banner that reads "Join the Hunters Today!" in silver script. Large wooden cutouts of the phases of the moon and the stars lean against the table. Fanned out on top of the table are glossy brochures made of heavy paper. The front reads "A WISE CHOICE FOR YOUR FUTURE!" Inside are images of teenage girls hunting, accompanied by captions like "HEALTH BENEFITS: IMMORTALITY AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU!” and “A BOY-FREE TOMORROW!" A sign-up sheet rests on the very corner of the table next to a large quiver filled with complimentary silver arrows that have the words "HUNTRESSES OF ARTEMIS" embossed on the shaft. Only girls are permitted to take an arrow, and a hunter is always on duty to enforce this rule.
HEPHAESTUS
Personalized Coins
Personalized Coins
A small forge is worked by a pair of demigods, who are busy stamping out celestial bronze coins. A third takes the hot coins, and etches either Ancient Greek or a god’s symbol into them. While doing so, he mutters Ancient Greek spells, which make the etchings move, either spinning, twirling, or waving (depends of the symbol of the god)
APHRODITE
Kissing Booth
Kissing Booth
The Aphrodite campers are doing a Kissing booth for their booth. It is not what you think though. The children of Aphrodite do not give actual kisses unless they want to, but instead give campers a Hershey's Kiss instead. Also they have lips stamps, and they stamp camper’s faces with it! One will see TONS of kids running around the carnival with several kisses! Very cute!
The booth is a table with a white tablecloth over top. Decorating the tablecloth are red and pink glittering hearts. Up above the table is a sign that reads, “Kisses from Aphrodite” in white writing on a red background. Attached to each end are red, white, and pink heart balloons.
HERMES
Milk Bottle Toss
Milk Bottle Toss
The Hermes campers' booth appears to be extremely basic. There are two tables, one that the "customer" (as called by the Hermes campers) stands behind to make their throws and one that holds a somewhat unstable pyramid of milk bottles. The throwers' table is covered with a checkered tablecloth, and on it is a wicker basket filled to the brim with softballs that are filled with cork, making them lighter than regulation balls. To the right side of the customers' table, on the ground, is another basket filled with stuffed toys and candy that serve as prizes. The table holding the pyramid of bottles is bare, and the top bottles may topple; what the customer has no knowledge of is the fact that the bottom bottles are filled with lead and weigh roughly ten pounds each. It is impossible to knock them down with the cork softballs; thus, you cannot win a prize.
DIONYSUS
Grapevine Maze
Grapevine Maze
The Dionysus booth has a maze in the north woods. The Dionysus campers use their powers to create the walls of the maze. It symbolizes Dionysus because many people lose their minds in mazes and succumb to madness. They is a booth at the entrance. The table is covered with a deep purple cloth, and a banner held above by grape vines says “Madness Maze”. On the deep purple cloth, there are grapevines hanging and twisting around the legs of the table. On the front of the cloth is a maze drawing in white.
HADES
Ring Toss
Ring Toss
The Hades Cabin has planned a ring toss game. But it isn't a normal ring toss. Instead of bottles, there are skulls. They aren't real though, so no freaking out. The rings are big enough to go around the head and are black. They have little skulls and gems painted on them thanks to Natasha. Mitch has gotten candy as a prize. There are also stuffed bears and things of the like if campers don't want candy.
MINOR GODS
Beanbag Toss (And Free Soda!)
Beanbag Toss (And Free Soda!)
There are two long, wooden tables, a few inches apart. Navy, cotton tablecloths are slid over them with golden table runners in the center of both, flowing to the ground, just like the tablecloth. On the table on the left (if you're facing the booth) is a bunch of display boards with all the different parents of the kids. A large canopy is hanging above of the two tables, and there are more informational packets and godly symbols hanging off of it. On the table on the right, there is a complimentary cooler full of soda for anyone to take, but only one per person. On the right of the cooler, there is a big wooden plaque with several holes, some big, some small. Beanbags are placed in a basket beside it for a beanbag toss. Three beanbags per person. Two demigods are stationed there and will rotate every hour; one for information, one to enforce the soda/beanbag toss rules.
